-This has licorice root, which carries a contraindication warning for many medications. If you’re on medications check before taking this.
-This is was too sweet, tastes like straight stevia drops on the tongue. It’s not so bad that I’m not going to take them, but it tastes like a bitter root with too much stevia.
-This is not vegan, it has lactose.
-The price is a bit high for this dose of resveratrol. 100mg is a very low dose, I normally take 500mg daily, some people say 1,500 daily (which would be 15 of these tablets). I’m not sure 100mg is enough of a dose to provide much benefit. I will not be reordering.

The ingredients are pretty straightforward: Resveratrol, Licorice Root Powder, Stevia Leaf Extract, Lactose and acacia gum. I like that it literally starts to melt on your tongue and is easily absorbed into your saliva.

Was a homeopathic try to help with absorption of other meds. After a few days I noticed I was starting to get random jerking motions of my extremities and torso. As the days went on, this became uncomfortable, unpredictable, least of all embarrassing. I stopped taking this and am back to normal. Alerted my doctor and told good idea to cease altho she had no patients complain of this side effect.

I like that these tablets are fast dissolving. Simply place one tablet under the tongue and it’s absorbed into the body through the bloodstream. This is very healthy and is a great antioxidant for the body

Not sure if this product is really all that useful.
First of all, the does is quite low, 100 mg versus
500 -1,000 mg being the effective dose as stated in the pertinent literatures.
Second, it has lactose, which can cause gastric distress for those who are lactose intolerant.
I am not even sure why it has lactose in first place.
Bigger concern for me is that it contains licorice root extract,
which can potentially have adverse interaction with a host of medications,
although 10 mg might be too low of a dosage to cause significant interactions.

Superior Source Resveratrol Supplements are 100 mg tablets that dissolve quickly under my tongue, but can be chewed or swallowed. These aren’t coated but they’re small and easy to swallow for those who want to avoid the taste as these are bitter, though they’re also slightly sweet from stevia. They really don’t taste good, but they don’t taste terrible either. But they do leave an astringent, bitter aftertaste. While I can’t vouch for the purity of any supplement, I’ve bought this brand numerous times and like it as I’ve never felt any side effects and their sublingual Vitamin D3 effectively treated past Vitamin D deficiency (confirmed by blood test).
I’m comfortable with the brand, but I’m not sure about taking resveratrol. Common sources are red wine and grape juice, which I don’t drink so I thought this might be a good supplement for me as heart disease runs in the family. I took it for a week without issues, but I’ve discontinued use as the benefits and dose are unclear to me after more reading. Also, Web WD and Livestrong indicate resveratrol supplements may have side effects and also interact with medications, such as Allegra (which I take). All I can really say is that this brand is easy to take (but tastes bad), it doesn’t seem full of filler and it’s a brand I like, so I’d be comfortable taking this Superior Source supplement if recommended by my doctor. Contains milk. 3.5 stars. Made in the USA.
