I took this with me on a trip to Yellowstone recently. I knew this trip was going to require sunscreen because I’d be hiking, biking and rafting in a lot of sun! I love to wear makeup but I also knew, on this trip, that was not going to be a good idea. So when I saw that this product could be like a sunscreen AND makeup primer, I thought I’d try it. I used this under a skin tint or bb cream instead of using foundation and it worked. It does give a little bit of a glow, which I thought was nice, and it didn’t feel really heavy underneath. I didn’t burn after hours of sun exposure. Of course, I used a small more compact roll on type sunscreen (Kopari) to reapply every couple hours but I think it held up pretty well! The only thing was that after about 4 days I started to notice some acne on my face. I’m in my late 50’s and not prone to acne, so I’m not really sure if it was the sunscreen. I kept applying it throughout the rest of my week long trip. A few days after I returned home and I had stopped using it, because I have a 30spf daily moisturizer and foundation I use normally, the acne went away. 🤷♀️ That’s why I knocked off one star because I feel like applying this product was the only thing that really changed for me. I will continue to use it for beach days or whenever I have other long days in the sun.

I am a sunscreen addict and I love trying different brands and formulas. I splurged on this teeny tiny bottle because I didn’t want to commit to the large size before knowing how I like it.
First, I am pleased with the texture. I dislike a matte look overall (for myself) and this has a beautiful creamy texture that goes on smooth.
Second, I don’t love that it makes me look like a robot. A super shiny, but dewy robot. I decided to forgo a face of makeup on a recent trip to Knotts Berry Farm. Felt cute when I got out of the car. Finally met up with my kids toward the evening and my teen son asked, “mom what is wrong with your face!?!” After reapplying throughout the day, the glowy finish had turned me into a shiny metallic mess that horrified my teens. Maybe if you apply it once and never again for the day it would be fine. But I reapply my sunscreen every few hours because that’s kinda the whole point!
Lastly, even though I did not put it in my eyeballs, something about it even being near my eyes irritated them. I do have Sjögren’s which causes severe dry and irritated eyes, so this may be a “me” problem and not necessarily a product problem. But I recommend keeping it far from the eyes, which kinda sucks because eyelids need protection too!
Overall, I think this would work fine for those who prefer a makeup free, dewy look, and don’t reapply sunscreen through the day. But for serial reapply-ers, I don’t think this is the one.

The Supergoop tinted sun block arrived timely. The color is an exact match for my skin tone. After wearing it 3 times though, I’m not as fond of it as I wanted to be. It’s not the dewy look, I like that. It’s just at the end of my day my face feels dirty to touch. It’s probably just me. I will continue to use it though.

I won’t use any other sunscreen on my face except for super goop! The glow it creates on the skin is perfect! Not overwhelming, very natural and dewy. Great makeup primer too!

I love this sunscreen! I love that it is tinted, but doesn’t look unnatural on my face. And the GLOW is surreal. It gives my face a really sunkissed look and looks great when I layer makeup on top of it. Will definitely be purchasing again when it runs out!
