My dentures never seem to fit quite right or adhesive last long. And this polygrip works great. However be sure each time you use it the end glue hardens and causes a little knot if you don’t squirt the hard tip out each time first before using it

Holds as described, as long as you do not drink hot liquids (coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc). Works well under pressure – chewing, actually biting into a hamburger or pizza, holds well.

I had been looking for some denture glue that would seal out food and have really good adhesion without any flavors. I had tried some others before and I couldn’t get past having flavor that altered the taste of my food. This one is excellent for that! It does the best job I’ve ever had for sealing food out from under my dentures and for holding them in place when I eat some thing that is really tough or hard or crispy. I was even able to eat a candy that was made of very sticky caramel and pecans. My dentures did not budge and the tiny pieces of nuts did not get underneath.
However, even though the packaging says it holds for 12 hours, I have found that it holds for over 24 hours and I have had occasions when I tried to remove it before 24 hours where it actually tore some skin off with the glue. And, when I finally get the dentures out there is a massive amount of glue left in my mouth. After it has been in my mouth for many hours, has the consistency and appearance of rubber cement! It sometimes takes me up to 15 minutes to get all of the glue out of my mouth after I remove the dentures.
I will keep using it because it doesn’t alter the taste of food and it sticks really good and seals food out. However, be warned That you may have some difficulty getting all of the glue out of your mouth when you remove the dentures.

These came in a box as a set. I like the hold, however the taste is just so nasty. Something has to be done about that. So if you’re looking for hold go ahead. If you gag at the taste of things , you might want to avoid.

Very secure hold. At the 12 hour mark…the teeth might still be secure…do not force the teeth out…that could take the skin with it. Let it loosen on its own, then remove gently.
