These pills are alright. They are big but not hard to take down. I have nothing negative to say; however, having to take these three times a day wasn’t ideal for me. I only ended up taking one with the rest of my vitamins. Other fish oils I’ve taken in the past did not require taking them multiple times a day.

I take omega-3 supplements for their known health benefits. I hate fish, so I know I am not getting enough from diet alone. It can be difficult finding a good fish oil supplement because it’s hard to know it’s safe (no heavy metals) and not oxidized (rancid).
This company responded immediately to my email requesting more information about this Omega-3 fish oil supplement. They provided me the certificate of analysis information, and I now have confidence that what I am taking does not contain Mercury or heavy metals, or any other contaminants, and it is fresh. I am very impressed with how responsive they were.
These softgels are easy to swallow (1 per serving) and so far I haven’t had any issues with a fishy aftertaste.
The price is good, especially for 120 softgels (40 day supply)
The only issue I have is that the recommended use is to take one soft gel, 3 times daily. I doubt I’ll get more than my morning dose.
Despite that, this is a good Omega-3 supplement and I highly recommend it.

Good, basic fish oil supplement. Soft gel, like most fish oils, with no taste. Contains vitamin E (an antioxidant which can help preserve freshness). Oils were fresh – I cut open one gel and detected no rancid odor (some fish oils can go bad, but because of the softgel covering, you wouldn’t know it)
The bottle came with safety seals intact (an outer shrink wrap plastic over the lid, an inner foam safety seal as per the picture). The bottle does have an expiration date stamped (more than two years away in my case). The label wasn’t in the best shape (hope this isn’t an indication of quality) – some parts streaked, bunched up in one area, sticky in another – but the softgels seemed fine.
The description indicates third party testing, but doesn’t note the test lab. The label does/description does not have a NSF, USP, UL, nor a Consumer Lab seal – common quality markers among more tested / verified supplements.

These Bestvite Super Omega-3 Fish Oil capsules are packaged well and securely. I’ve had issues with some vitamins and supplements not being sealed, so I never take quality packaging for granted.
When I opened the bottle, I wasn’t struck by a strong fish smell, which is a good thing (I hope). I trust these contain exactly what’s described on the label, and hopefully – nothing else! My diet lacks Omega-3 fats, and these are supplements that I hope will fill the gap.
Frankly, I’m not able to comment on how my body is affected by these supplements because I haven’t used them long enough. But if you review the ingredients and they fit into your regimen, you should feel confident giving them a try. At the very least, they’ll be safely packaged and won’t smell bad!

Since I started taking this product years ago, my total cholesterol has dropped about 40 points. it is molecularly distilled so as to remove the impurities that can cause gastric upset. I take one capsule 2x daily, with breakfast and with dinner. Highly recommended!

Omega-3 is an important fatty acid that we mush ingest as our body’s do not make it. There are several sources of omega-3, of which fish, krill, flax seed, and algae seem to be the most common ingredients used for supplements. Our body’s break down omega-3 into DHA and EPA, but are not overly efficient at it, so consuming it already broken down can have its advantages. Some supplements also contain the antioxidant astaxanthin (mainly found in krill or salmon oils).
The Bestvite super omega-3 supplement is based on fish oil and has DHA and EPA, but lacks astaxanthin. The supplement comes as a yellowish liquid in an average sized gel capsule and packaged in a white plastic bottle with a screw on cap. There is a mild odor to them with a hint of fish, but it isn’t bad and I did not notice much flavor to them. The size is average for fish oil pills, which is to say that they are on the larger side, but being gel capsules are not overly difficult to swallow if you are used to them. The suggested use is to take one softgel three times a day (so one with each meal). The label on the bottle indicates that these are non-GMO and gluten free, and the Amazon product page indicates these are manufactured in the USA according to GMP (good manufacturing practices) and are 3rd-party tested (I was not able to find any information on what 3rd-party or the testing results).
I have tried various omega-3 supplements and found that sometimes the amount of ingredients advertised (quantity) isn’t always what matters the most and that quality of ingredients can sometimes have a much larger impact with significantly less dose. For the dose, I think Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega are better (seem to have a more noticeable beneficial impact, better overall aroma/flavor, and smaller serving size for more dose), but they are also significantly more expensive. Compared to other ingredients (sources of omega-3) I have recently tried, and seem to like better, supplements that use algae, which are much more sustainable and seem to work well, but some of the better ones can also be more expensive like the Nordic Naturals brand is with fish oil (I guess you get what you pay for, but at what point do you hit diminishing returns).
I think this supplement is a decent source of omega-3 and the price certainly is competitive, but I think there are better quality omega-3 supplements out there; however, you are going to pay more for the higher grade supplement (sometimes a lot more). While this supplement didn’t provide as noticeable of an improvement as some others, I still did notice some improvement (like helping with my dry, aging eyes, but not much).
