I’ve been taking sour cherry supplements as a sleep aid for a couple years now and, overall, I find that the supplements help me fall asleep faster. Note: staying asleep through the night is still challenging if you have chronic insomnia, as I do, so don’t expect these to have the same effect as a sleeping pill.
At any rate, I liked that this supplement is a quick release capsule. I take it about an hour before bedtime and it works pretty well. I can tell it helps, because when I forget to take it I have a harder time falling asleep. I’ve tried other supplements from the Sundance company. It’s a reliable company with all natural products that seem to be safely prepared with ingredients you can read and understand.
The capsules are on the smaller size, easy to swallow, tasteless with no side effects (at least for me). I’m very pleased!

I typically use tart cherry juice for joint health. This seems like a good alternative without all the sourness of the actual juice that can irritate the stomach. The capsules are easy to swallow, no taste or aftertaste, only have one ingredient and you only need to take 2, so the bottle is a 30 day supply.

My bottle had an outer seal around the cap, an inner seal underneath the cap, and a long shelf life. So, I felt they were safe to take. I really like that these capsules by Sundance offers a high amount of the Tart Cherry ingredients, 1,200 mg in a quick release formula. With these you take 2 capsules per day with a meal, so each bottle lasts for 30 days. They taste very good, are easy to swallow, and digest. I have been taking these for several days now without any problems. I love the little burst of energy you get too. At $0.25/day, I feel these are a very good value to help maintain a healthy immune system. I highly recommend these Tart Cherry capsules.

These came with a plastic shrinkwrap on the flip-top cap, with a safety seal underneath. I was hoping that they might smell like cherries, but they don’t . The capsules are clear and the powder inside is a dull purple, but there’s no scent or flavor. I know, they’re not candy – I didn’t deduct anything for not having a scent or flavor.
The capsules are on the small side, as supplements go. They’re very easy to take.
