I ordered these for my mom, who has knee and other joint issues because she swears by glucosamine chondroitin and says that taking it on a prolonged basis really helps her. This particular brand was attractive to me because I had read a few articles about questionable side effects – especially affecting the eyes – from shellfish, from which glucosamine is sourced, so we decided to try this to see if she gets the same relief without it. So far she’s had no issue taking the pills, they go down easily. I liked that there were 120 caps in the bottle, and that there’s no gelatin or the long list of other filler ingredients that come with the artificial drugstore brands, though I wish maltodextrin wasn’t one of them because it’s been known to cause digestive issues. However, my mom never has digestive issues it’s no problem (we’ll see). I’ll update my review after she’s been taking it for a couple of months when we find out if she thinks these are as effective as what she took before. More and more I’m being drawn to simplifying supplements and eliminating what’s not necessary so this was a good option.

ML Naturals Chondroitin Sulfate 1200mg 120 Vegan Capsules.
I ordered the Chondroitin capsules because we live on a working ranch and are involved in a lot of physical activity on a daily basis. From working livestock, to fixing fences, we are always busy with demanding chores and sometimes we encounter soreness, sprains, strains and joint pain. We have used Chondroitin in the past to help with flexibility, and to promote healthy joints, and found it helpful. We are not on a vegan diet, and prefer the animal source of Chondroitin, such as shark cartilage, or bovine sources. This product is probably derived from a plant (fungus) source through a fermentation process, to produce pure Chondroitin sulphate. These “larger” capsules are easy enough to swallow, and have no taste. The recommended dose is two per day, so this is a 60 day supply. I feel that the value is there, especially for those on a vegan diet. It’s too early to tell if this product works as well as the others that we have tried, but I am still satisfied with this purchase.

The container comes with a safety seal. Package in the US and 3rd party tested. The expiration date is two full years from now. The directions say to take two capsules a day 600 mg Chondroitin each (1200 mg total). They are easy to swallow with water and they don’t have any taste to them. It will take time to see how effective they are. The internet says a safe range to take daily is 800 to 1200 mg, so this is the upper limit. I will be taking one per day along with another mixed supplement that hardly has any Chondroitin in it. I like that the capsules are only 600 mg so I can make them fit my supplement routine!

These nutraceutical dietary supplements from ML Naturals are as advertised. The bottle I received was double sealed for safety (and also restricts moisture ingress). It contains 120 capsules, each containing 600mg of chondroitin sulfate. If one follows the manufacturer’s serving suggestion of 1.2 grams, then the bottle contains a two month supply of chondroitin.
The capsule shell is vegan, which should appeal to wider audience than conventional animal-based gelatin capsules. Regardless, I found the capsules easy to swallow. According to the label, the product is manufactured in the USA (although the source ingredients and excipients countries of origin are not disclosed). Lastly, the bottle I received had plenty of shelf life remaining – does not expire for 3 years.
Overall, the product quality seems find and the price point is reasonable. No complaints whatsoever.
