This body butter hydrates skin and smells delicious. It smells similar to cocoa butter even though it doesn’t contain any. It does contain a host of other beneficial ingredients such as squalane, shea butter, olive oil, jojoba oil and macadamia seed oil. The jar came properly sealed with a foil cover. It has a best by date of three and a half years from the date I received it, but I’m certain it will be used up long before that because it is so nice. I like to use it after showering to lock in moisture before I start my day. This is a great treat for my skin.

This is a lightweight cream that’s easy to spread, absorbs quickly, and isn’t greasy or sticky feeling. It feels very moisturizing and soothing for my dry skin and that relief lasts a long time. I’ve had (less costly) body butters in the past that actually dried my skin rather than hydrate it, but this is the opposite, and I can feel the difference. One application of this cream is enough to make my skin feel soft and well hydrated all day (or night) without feeling like I need to apply more, so this container should last a while (which is good because it’s expensive). It does have a scent that smells like vanilla to me, and that aroma lingers lightly on the skin for a long time. I find the scent pleasant, but if you’re extremely sensitive to fragrances that may present a problem for you. The ingredients in this body butter are top notch – shea butter, olive oil, jojoba oil, macadamia seed oil, squalene, and more. I’ve included a pic of the entire list so you can check for anything you may be sensitive to before buying. This vegan, cruelty free, and eco certified body butter is made in Austria and comes well presented for gifting. Although this is good for any skin type, I think it is especially beneficial for those with aging or dry skin.

Definitely body butter. Very thick, but not too thick. Absorbs well and leaves silky soft skin, and at least for my skin, not oily. The smell is strong, not subtle, but I like how it smells. Macadamia for sure but also plenty of vanilla. I’m a fan.

Styx Shea Butter Body Cream is a white colored body cream with a silky soft feel to it. The primary aromas that I recognized were warm vanilla and a soft nuttiness. When I had applied it to my skin, it had an initial residue feeling but after a few minutes it fully absorbed into my skin. The inviting aroma that I liked so much as I applied the body cream remained on my skin afterwards. After several days of use, I have noticed that my skin feels soft to the touch. The body butter is made with organic shea butter, organic soybean oil, olive oil, organic jojoba seed oil, and organic macadamia nut oil among other ingredients. It is Made in Austria and the product that I received has a best by date of 42 months from the date that I received it. When it comes to cost, it is noticeably on the high side, even when considering the organic ingredients used to make it. Ultimately, the product worked well for me but it performed similarly to competitor body creams that have a lower price. I enjoyed this product, but I did not experience significant improvements that distinguished itself from its competitors to justify the current price. Thus, I don’t see myself adding another order to my Amazon cart.

Pretty lightly scented and very thick n creamy, but doesn’t feel heavy after applying. The container is bigger than the amount of product received which led to a nice pressurized spurt when I opened the sealed foil top (not fun). I personally did find it a little on the greasy feeling side but it wasn’t a long-lasting sensation as the lotion absorbed into my skin.

This cream is so thick and moisturizing, exactly what my aging dry skin needs. I like all the good ingredients and appreciate that it’s made somewhere besides China. I’m not big on scents, but this scent is pleasant. The jar comes in a box and is securely sealed with a foil liner under the lid. A very luxurious and effective moisturizer.

This moisturizer is wonderful. It is creamy and smooth and rubs into my skin very easily, without leaving any sort of residue behind. It definitely moisturizes well and continues to last throughout the day.
I like that it doesn’t contain palm oil or any ingredients that I don’t recognize and that it comes in a glass container. I usually don’t like products with any perfume in them because I am very sensitive to smells, but the scent in this is so mild and pleasant that I actually enjoyed it. It smells like vanilla and sugar- sort of like a cookie or cake.

Ottima crema corpo. Ho una pelle piuttosto secca, questa crema la idrata perfettamente e a lungo. Di facilissimo assorbimento malgrado appaia densa, ha un odore molto buono e delicato che apprezzo particolarmente. Il fatto che sia in un vasetto, poi, ne consente il completo utilizzo senza sprechi. La ricomprerò.
