This stuff has been a miracle supplement for treating gallstones. I was suffering from unbearable pain in my right shoulder from gallbladder attacks, thankfully I was able to figure out the problem and avoid the hospital because they would have definitely cut my gallbladder out (I’ve had many surgeries in the past and was trying to avoid that). This stuff worked almost immediately for me! I also started taking Stone Breaker every morning to help as well, but this A-F Betafood has helped me more than anything I’ve tried in months, and I’ve tried almost everything I can find!! It’s also helping a little with symptoms from ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, but is incredible for gallstones or “gallbladder attacks“. I take one when I start eating any meal and chew one as well, so 2 tablets per meal, and all my pain was gone within 3 days!! Even now if I get a little pain in my right shoulder, I can just chew 1-2 tablets and the pain is gone within minutes. Truly incredible!! Highly recommend!

This is a great product for someone with digestive problems related to lack of sufficient bile production, as I have been. Forgive me, but discussion of this topic must, by its nature, be a little less than genteel. So here goes. My natural pharmacist diagnosed the root cause of my health problems as the inability of my digestive system (liver, duodenum, etc.) to release bile when needed. He explained that bile is fundamental to the digestive process. The bile mixes with the food in your stomach to create a kind of “slurry” as preparation for the food’s journey through the large and small intestines. As this “slurry” travels through the intestines, it releases nutrients to the body through the walls of the intestines; it also receives toxins from the body through the intestine walls for elimination from the body. If it’s not working properly, many, many health problems arise over time, as happened to me. For the supplement to be effective, my pharmacist advised me to drink lots and lots of water with it (not other liquids, just water.) This is very important. Occasionally when I’ve not remembered to drink enough water, the supplement lost significant effectiveness. Interestingly, with my disorder, without this supplement, it doesn’t matter how much water I drink, I am still constipated for days and days on end and sometimes for a week or more. I tried everything to treat this constipation. Nothing ever “really” worked. Now, for the first time in my life, using A-F Betafood supplementation, my digestion runs like a smooth, well-oiled machine. I am much healthier now, and I feel lighter, more energetic, and have less bulk around my middle. Friends and family tell me I look better, too. I continue to eat very healthy, as I always have, with lots of vegetables, fruit, proteins, natural grains, and minimal amounts of processed foods. For me personally, this product has been a “miracle” product. Unfortunately, no medical doctor was ever able to help me with this problem, each one saying, in essence, that people all have different elimination habits and I shouldn’t worry about it … i.e., live with it. It took a natural heath practitioner to uncover the root problem and then prescribe something to make me well. A-F Betafood has truly rejuvenated my life. I am so grateful! I expect I will now have more years of vibrant good health to enjoy my 10 grandchildren!

This product is impressive. I found out my gall bladder was not performing up to par when my doctor requested a hidascan. He referred me to a general surgeon who accepted and made appointment. I went to Pennsylvania to visit in laws and friends since I had lived there fro 15 years. I saw my old chiropractor who was the absolute best. He recommended I get this product and said it really works well. So I tried it but found it caused heartburn when used as directed. So I dropped the amount to 2 at breakfast only. No more heartburn and I’m feeling really great. I take one more during lunch once in a while. I put off the surgery and it is 6 months later and I’m having no problems with my gall bladder. All I can say is it worked for me!

I don’t write many reviews, but am compelled to do so in this case.
I started taking these because my acid reflux had become unbearable and anything I tried either had no impact or was temporary relief at best. Drugs like Omeprazole worked (somewhat) during the course, but my symptoms quickly reverted back after. My acid reflux was so bad I would get it after drinking water. I was fearful of developing serious damage to my esophagus after having dealt with the issue for multiple years.
I tried probiotics. Obviously those have their place, but it didn’t help my acid reflux. I was desperate and I found these – they had good ratings, so I tried them.
About a week after starting to take them, my acid reflux was gone. Completely. No sign at all as long as I continued to take these with food and not eat terribly. The only time I got reflux was when I ate very poorly, and even then, it was minor at worst.
I have been taking them now for about four months and I am to the point where I don’t even take them with every meal. Maybe once a day, like a maintenance thing. Sometimes I miss a day. But I get almost NO reflux at all. I am wary about things that seem too good to be true (I hope I don’t find some day that these caused other issues) but these have been lifesavers (maybe literally – I might have been on a path towards esophageal cancer as bad as my reflux was).
