Even though it was one of the cheapest moisturizers I could find, it does its job very well!
It smells almost like sunscreen (which I love), and leaves my face nice and smooth when I use it.
Winter has been making my skin dry and this has been helping significantly to reduce the dryness.

I have used St. Ives products for years, mainly their medicated face scrub. I liked the price of this as well, very affordable. This makes your face/skin feel SO soft and it hasnt caused aby breakouts for my sensitive skin. I mainly use this at night, but i use for the day sometimes as well. I recommend!

I have an oily skin type which may be relevant here. I enjoy the moisturizer as when applied after washing, it smoothly applies to the skin and keeps the oil away for quite a bit of time as it gives me a nice sensation of moisturization. My gripe with this product however that leads to only 4 stars, is that soon after i applied the product, a day later i noticed mini breakouts appearing here and there around my face. And this has continued with use. And that’s a bummer cause i am a fan of st.ives products, but because of this, i won’t get this one again and will probably search for a different moisturizer.
So be aware, it may possibly cause small breakouts. Otherwise it is a good moisturizer for a regimen

Definitely one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used, especially for the price! It’s oil free and collagen and elastin are great for anti-aging, regardless of what age you are. It’s good to start young because it’s much easier to prevent wrinkles and fine lines rather than fix them once you have them. I have dry skin and it’s wonderful! It’s super moisturizing and fairly thick but spreads really easily and absorbs really quickly. I’m a huge fan of St. Ives products and this and the apricot scrub are probably my favourites. Even if this moisturizer was $20 or $30 I would buy it again in a heartbeat after using it so the fact that it’s $5 is amazing and 100% worth it! It’s also oil free so it doesn’t make your skin feel greasy and is great under makeup. It’s unscented which is also great because fragrances, while they smell nice, aren’t good for your skin. It doesn’t have SPF but most lotions with SPF only have SPF 15 (you should minimally use SPF 30) and sunscreens nowadays are awesome so this isn’t an issue (plus a lot of lotions with SPF are more greasy). I would highly recommend this!

I hope they never stop making this. I’ve been using this for years and now that I’m older nothing makes my face as soft as this does. If you moisturize with this a few minutes before, your foundation goes on so smoothly and and gets a fantastic finish

I have used this product in the big jar for years. This is the first time I have seen the same one in a tube. I use it everywhere including face. I have tried more expensive face creams but always come back. I will continue to use the jar but this tube will pack easier and not compactly than the jar.
