The size of the minister is much better than a huge non coated pill. Kind of pricey…but there’s not alot of added ingredients.

After trying several other brands of a calcium pill, I found Spring Valley Mini calcium plus D3. These are much easier to swallow than the typical pill. Also they are coated so they go down easily. I’m glad I found these.

My doctor told me to take calcium and vitamin D supplements for bone health. I used the uncoated kind for years, then found a gel coated variety. While they were easier to swallow than the uncoated ones, it still wasn’t easy. I decided to try these Mini ones. Yes, you have to take two of them to equal the dose of the larger ones, but I figured they would be half size and half the difficulty. Wrong! While the longest part was smaller, the shortest part was much larger. As I finish off the last of this final bottle, I have to take them with two gulps of water because they get stuck in my throat.

I ordered these because I was having trouble swallowing my regular calcium pills. Although coated, they are the size of an M&M peanut candy which makes them hard to get down. If you have swallowing problems like I do, you should probably look at another option.

After ordering the calcium supplement at a price of $20 I found the exact item at Walmart for $9. Unfortunately, Amazon does not allow returns even though they are unopened. I like the vitamins, I just don’t like paying more than double for them. Lesson learned.
