CONCLUSION:
UV protection for scalp/hair is a fantastic concept and seriously necessary. But Im left with more Q’s than A’s
As someone with dark strong hair and doesnt get scalp burn, how do i really know its doing anything for my strands?
Furthermore, how much do I even use to achieve such protection?
Also, mineral sunscreens are notorious for white cast….this has no white cast….nor anything resembling a white cast
Personally, i feel i waisted money. This could just be fancy water and id have no way of knowing.
And after the EPA sunscreen study, im even more skeptical.
Ill give them 4 ★ because I have nothing concrete to penalize them over except for maybe the lack of information on the bottle.

My hair is thinner at the front of my hairline at my forehead and also I have very white hair in that area. I was not aware of how fair and thin my hair was in that area till I was at the beach for wla week last year. After day two my scalp in that area was beet red. My daughter had some very expensive stuff she was using in her hair and my Granddaughter’s hair that worked well, but out of my price range. This year I started researching different brands on Amazon and found this to have good ratings and was fairly responsive at a little over $22.
It goes a long way! It doesn’t make my hair gooey. It’s very light feeling when you spray it on. I replied once in a 3 hour period, but didn’t get my hair wet at any time either so that might make a difference in his often you need to reapply.

The bottle says it has 4.06 ounces. I measured and it has less than 2 ounces in it. I have to return it. Too expensive to have less than half of what it is supposed to have.

I find that this product, even though it is a little pricier than others, works great on color treated hair in the hot Florida sun. Repeat customer!

I bought because a friend of mines daughter suggested it . She is a hairdresser too . I am 66 years old and my hair gets bleached very very light . When I tried using this product my hair got soaked . I don’t know what I was thinking but I didn’t think it would give me a wet head of hair . I only used it once . I just stuck with the light hair color . I am a natural blonde . If you want to use it just know your hair will get wet .

I like this scalp and hair sunscreen spray very much! It helps me a lot to prevent any damage of my hair when I go to the beach. I recently spent two weeks in Florida and I used this spray 3-4 times every day. My hair didn’t get dry and damaged at all. I continue using it at home, in Arizona, because we always have excessive heat and sun here.

I live near Denver, where the sun is unrelenting. I’m very fair, I burn in minutes unless I take care, but I hate wearing a hat. So, I researched many SPF scalp and hair sprays, and eventually settled on this one. I haven’t been disappointed. I spray my part line liberally, and after it dries (in minutes) there’s no greasy or stiff film on my hair, no white residue either. I have dark brown hair, so any white residue would be very visible. The first time I went out I monitored things closely. My part line will burn (painfully) in 20 minutes, but 45 minutes went by and I was thrilled to be burn free. I haven’t tried the product in a swimming pool, and I know I’d still wear a hat on a 3 hour hike, but I’m very confident using this product in my daily activities.
I also felt that the bottle will last a long time, so there’s value for money there.
