Since using this product, I have noticed that my hair has started growing more and it has a new shine to it. My hair has also become less brittle and softer with using this product. I have also noticed that my nails have grown stronger. Typically, my nails grow relatively quick but they tend to break easily; however, with this product, they grow strong and resistant to breakage. This is easy to swallow. It has a slight lemony taste which beats the fishy taste many other Omega 3 supplements have. There is no fishy aftertaste.

We picked them because they are vegan and plant sourced rather than from fish, and that is a little bit hard to find in a market dominated by fish oils. Main drawback is that the capsules are kind of large and will stick in your throat if you don’t take them with enough liquid. A normal adult dose is two capsules and you really need a full glass of water to get them down comfortably. The lemon flavor mentioned in the description is the flavor added to the oil inside the capsules, not the outside capsule flavor itself. I bit the capsules to see if that would help with swallowing and it did a little bit. Very mild lemon flavor. When my wife tried biting the capsule first she complained that she kept tasting seaweed all day after, so be aware you may get algae burps if you open the capsules before eating!

Used to be the only solution was fish oil or fish oil derived products. But lucky for us vegans we now have these type supplements which are typically derived from algae.
Of the companies that make this, this one is pretty well regarded, and has been around for years in the supplement industry. Expensive but probably this is not the item to go low cost on. So many supplements are not what they say they are.
