Starting with the pros, I can say that the scent and feel of this moisturizer is luxurious. The cream is extra thick and is a joy to massage into the skin, while the light floral scent is lovely and not too overpowering. I also like that it has retinol in it which is supposed to be very good with anti-aging properties.
Now, I always try to run my cosmetics through an ingredient scanner so I know what I’m putting on my body, and unfortunately this product received a “poor” rating from the app I use. Mostly it seemed to be due to one ingredient (see picture – it’s a long name) that apparently can be toxic when ingested. Of course, if you’re not using this on your face that shouldn’t be a problem but if you have, say, a pet or apply it on parts of your body that may be touched with someone’s lips then I can definitely see that being an issue. So just something to be informed about!

I received the retinol anti-aging body buttter factory sealed. Body butters tend to be thicker than lotion, which this one is. However it absorbs into the skin nicely without being too thick and greasy. I would lather this body butter on after a nice bath to make sure it soaks into my skin so it can receive all the benefits. Since it’s retinol with vitamin E, it should provide some “anti-aging” effect, but I don’t think it’ll be something you’ll observe even with multiple use. It is however very moisturizing and creamy!
Overall it’s a nice body butter especially in the colder seasons! It’s pretty comparable to other body butters I’ve tried, so I wouldn’t say it stands out too much. It is worth a try though in case it does have some “anti-aging” effect.

Sigh. I should have known better. When they don’t show the ingredients list on a promotional page, there’s probably a reason. It’s because they don’t want you to know. They say, “we prioritize your well-being and the environment. Our body butter is free from harsh chemicals…”
Meanwhile, when you receive the product and actually get to read the ingredients list, you see that only the fourth one down is actually, wait for it… Mineral oil. Mineral oil, which is not really an oil at all in the way that we would think of oils, that is, something that is plant derived, but is, in fact, a petroleum distillate. Mineral oil, which for decades and to this very day still, has been marketed as Baby Oil. When I think of millions of people slathering their babies in petroleum distillates, it turns my stomach. Commercially, Mineral oil is good business because it’s cheaply produced, and while it appears to moisturize the skin upon application because of its oily consistency, it ultimately dries it out, so you end up needing more of… you guessed it, more of the same product so you’ll keep using it. But this is the world we live in.
There are absolutely some good and healthful ingredients on the list for this body butter, but they all come lower than the Mineral oil. So you can decide.

This is a nice formula. My mom and I found it to be creamy but not greasy. It is very easy to put on, it blends in to your skin well. My mom especially has not really noticed any “anti-aging” effects, but the retinol amount is probably low. But for the price you get a nice feeling, moisturizing lotion with some other benefits.

After using the body butter, I must say I am thoroughly impressed. The giant container provided me with an ample supply, and its blend of retinol, CoQ10, and vitamin E truly works wonders for my skin. Upon application, I immediately noticed how moisturizing it felt, leaving my skin super smooth and soft. Despite its luxurious texture, it didn’t feel greasy at all, and it absorbed effortlessly into my skin.
What I appreciate most is its affordability at just $9.99. Given the quality and quantity, this is a steal. The floral fragrance, while present, dissipates fairly quickly, which is a plus for me as I prefer subtler scents. I’ve made it a routine to apply this body butter on my arms and legs right after showering, and the results are remarkable. My skin feels incredibly nourished and velvety smooth, and I’ve even noticed an improvement in its overall texture.
I must admit, however, that I didn’t notice significant anti-aging effects, but considering the price and the overall moisturizing benefits, it’s a minor drawback. Overall, this body butter has become a staple in my skincare routine, and I will definitely repurchase it once I run out. It’s a fantastic product that delivers on its promises, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a deeply hydrating and affordable body moisturizer.
