Product was good. The taste is strong/bitter. I was hoping to put this in my children’s water but they really disliked the taste. I had to put it in some juice. We used this when we felt like we were getting sick.

I am not using it as a vitamin supplement, but as a water conditioning/dechlorinator for chlorinated not chloramine city water, for water changes for rearing goldfish fry. I will not give dosing as this is something the normal fishkeeper or pondkeeper will not do, but. The powder is easy to handle, I found a desiccant capsule in the bottle which I left in it. It seems very high quality and is doing the job well. Adding the right ratio to change water, aerating for a few hours, and I have dechlorinated water for fry tank changes as needed. It is a little safer than using sodium thiosulfate in dosing, and helps support slimecoat as a side effect. For what I’m using it for, it is a very good product.

I am taking a high dose about 3 tsp of this a day mixed in water and sip throughout the day. It doesn’t effect my stomach like the Ascorbic Acid tends to. It makes you poop, I’ve noticed.
I don’t know if this is because of the vitamin C but I’ve noticed my vision is better since taking it and my teeth seem stronger! I have a satisfied feeling since taking it.
I also use this in my bath water to neutralize the chlorine in it. I put 1 tsp in the tub before I fill it with water and also add 2 tsp of bentonite clay. I do this for every bath I give my baby, he might absorb some of the vitamin C through his skin.

I use a tablespoon of this every evening in my bath water to neutralize the chlorine in the tap water. It dissolves fast and works so much better than a clumsy filter and ball. Nothing to clean, no filters to replace, no hardware to destroy your faucet or shower head! Just a tablespoon in the water and your water is rid of toxins. I have autoimmune issues and have found that small things do add up for good – removing toxins in your environment has more impact than some give credit – by neutralizing the chlorine in my daily bath water, I can honestly say I have felt a difference in my energy and overall feelings of well being. I’m a believer and use this daily.

I find this Vitamin C works much better for me than capsules. Maybe taking it as a liquid helps with absorption or something? Whatever the reason, I’ve found that taking this at the onset of cold symptoms will drive the illness away almost in minutes.
There are two cautions:
1.) It’s sodium ascorbate, so it tastes salty. Not as salty as table salt, but it’s definitely not tasteless. (You can drink it fast, or mix it with something to mask the taste, or just use it as a salt substitute.)
2.) It’s supposed to be PH neutral, but my wife got fairly sick (threw up) after taking a dose once without a meal. Granted, the instructions say not to do that, so I guess she could have expected the results she got. She’s been careful to only take it with food since then and hasn’t had a problem. I seem to be able to take it with or without a meal; your mileage may vary.
Overall, this is definitely our preferred way of taking vitamin C.

I give this to my 10 month old Great Pyrenees pup daily for the many health benefits it provides, especially for a growing puppy.
This is a great form of Vitamin C for a growing dog because a dogs digestive system doesn’t handily the acidity of the more common form of supplemental Vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
Ester C, which is Vitamin C in the form of Calcium Ascorbate is better tolerated by the digestive system, but contains a significant amount of calcium, which can be harmful to a large breed puppy, since they need to avoid extra calcium in their diet for proper structural development.
Sodium Ascorbate is great because it is a well tolerated, non acidic form of Vitamin C that is very easily put to use by the body, and doesn’t add any additional calcium. I love the powder form because it is easy to customize the dosage and sprinkle on food, and the taste is not bad! (slightly salty)

I developed pool itch and chlorine rashes after about two years of long-distance swimming, about 5,000 yards a day. After I got a chemical burn on my chest that was about the size of a medium pizza, I knew I had to start some sort of regiment to stop this from happening. Before I swim, I put petroleum jelly all over my body, and after swims, I used chlorine removal wash to get off the chlorine. My final step is to use a solution of Vitamin C Sodium Absorbate crystals in distilled water to spray my entire body. This DIY spray is a lot cheaper than Vitamin C sprays that you can buy online or the swim shop, and it works just as well.
Furthermore, these Vitamin C Crystals are really inexpensive compared with similar products. SInce I am a cheapskate, this is a win-win.
