I used to get up 3 to 5 times a night. I experimented with the dosage and found if I take one after the noon meal and again after supper I now get up 0-1 times a night. Of course they are too big to swallow so I chew them up. So they taste chalky who cares. It took about 2 weeks to have a positive effect and I was in disbelief after going the first week with out getting up to go. The product is wonderful.

I’ve been taking this brand for many years trying to keep my prostate healthy. I only take one a day and so far so good. The latest bottles I received say to take 2 per day. I’m not sure if it’s the super beta sitosterol or if I’m just lucky. The pills are big with sharp edges and are supposed to contain 375mg beta sitosterol, along with 187 mg Campesterol and 131 mg Stigmasterol. It’s difficult to find products with this much Phytosterol Complex and these are at good price point and worth relearning how to swallow. They aren’t supposed to taste good!

Consumer Labs, the equivalent of Consumer Reports for vitamins and supplements, rated this particular brand of beta-sitosterol as one of the best most cost-effective supplements on the market of its type. Beta-sitosterol is shown to be helpful in avoidance of an enlarged prostate and prostate cancer. I’ve been taking it for years and at the age of 57 my PSI is .03

This supplement has made a huge difference with my arthritis. My daughter recommended it to me, as it reduces inflammation. I had retired do the arthritis in my hands causing my fingers to lock, and the arthritis in my feet causing me to hobble rather than walk. I take two tablets twice a day and I can do anything I want to do! It is the equivalent of getting out of prison. It is derived from pineapple and has absolutely no unpleasant side effects! I wish mainstream Physicians would give this to people for their arthritis, because without exception every prescription arthritis medication causes gastrointestinal bleeding. Source Naturals is the best brand of the five I have tried; it is a great deal more effective. I recommend it without reservation.
