Shinbi Beauty has a relatively small number of other products on Amazon, with very good reviews. Shinbi Beauty is a brand of Digital Beauty Group. DBG’s stable of brands also tends to have very good reviews, and a much higher number in total.
The product is labeled “key ingredients from Japan”, which is good. But I’m still a little suspicious, where is it bottled?, but the company is located in the US, so hopefully they are trustworthy.
A single drop covers a relatively small area of skin, it gets quickly absorbed. Provides good, long lasting moisture.
I’m sensitive to scents. This has a slight smell, which goes away quickly. Overall not bad, and not over powering.

I don’t know if this necessarily did anything. It has a more oily consistency than I was expecting and it smells more like a rose smell (if you work in vet med, it kind of reminds me of cerenia) that I’m not really that hot on (likely from the cerenia flashbacks) but it doesn’t smell bad. It didn’t make me break out, which is nice, but I don’t know if it really made a difference otherwise.

The Shinbi Beauty Japanese Vitamin C Serum With Rice Water + Hyaluronic Acid is good option if you’re looking for a serum that lightly moisturizes skin and offers mild brightening to your skin. The serum is very thin and liquidy, but it spreads over skin well. The serum has a light scent that isn’t irritating and seems to absorb quickly. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and noticed that it does offer a mild brightening effect to skin. Your mileage may vary on how effective it is, but I found it worked great with my combination dry/normal skin and it didn’t cause any type of adverse effect. When paired with the Shinbi Beauty lotion, the duo worked perfectly for my skin. If you get this serum I recommend getting the Rice Cream With Rice Ferment + Sake Extract facial lotion as well. Overall, this is a good serum that I would buy again.

I found Shinbi Beauty Japanese Vitamin C Serum With Rice Water really helps with keeping my skin hydrated, mostly thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid content. AS long as I don’t put too much on it doesn’t leave my skin tacky and my skin feels comfortable after applying. It has a hint of scent that isn’t bad nor exciting.
For the price and quality, and that it is a multi-functions serum, this is a great product to include in the daily skincare routine.

There is a very slight scent to this serum, and it has a very watery consistency compared to others I have tried. In order to apply to my face, I have to squeeze from the dropper directly onto my face and gently rub or dab to distribute the product. I haven’t had any adverse reactions to using it. The ingredients that are used in this serum work great together. Since it is such a thin serum, it’s one of the first things I apply to my face after washing and toning. I am a big supporter of Korean skincare.
