Hours past after applying the product i experienced skin irritation. The. I applied again hoping that my skin will just get accustom to the product but the more i felt the itchiness and mild pain. So i stop and thats it.

I’ve heard great things about azelaic acid for calming redness and I was super excited to try this product from Peach Slices! If you have tried other redness-calming products and they haven’t worked well for you, you can give azelaic acid a try! This serum is gentle enough for daily use. As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I did not notice any irritation from using this product. This serum has worked exceptionally well to calm the stubborn red spots on my skin. I like to use this as the last step of my skincare routine. This serum absorbs really nicely into my skin without leaving a sticky feeling. I could not detect any added scents either. I recommend giving this serum a try to help you get rid of any redness that you might have on your skin!

This does help with redness, but I’ve noticed a bit of a stinging the first few times I used it. Switching it to every other day took care of that. So far, I’m good with it.

The package says it’s 10% Azelaic Acid to help visibly reduce redness, visually improve irritation, and signs of rosacea. Can be used twice daily. It adds that Azelaic acid is known for antibacterial properties, gentle exfoliation, and ability to combat, blemishes and improve, uneven skin tone.
I tried this out once daily at night in my skincare routine to see if it would help tone down the hyperpigmentation of redness left behind by old acne marks. I didn’t see any substantial difference, however, this may help with the redness of rosacea which I can’t attest for. I also know everyone’s skin reacts differently, so this may show more improvement on other types of redness.
This did not irritate my skin, has no fragrance, and it does leave a hydrating feel on my skin after applied.

My skin reacts really well to Azelaic Acid so this worked great to fade any post blemish redness. It was a little bit harsh for my skin though. Every couple of applications I notice some stinging. I don’t use this all over. I prefer to use this as a spot treatment.
