I take tons of pills and supplements, I have for the last ten years, I’m 38yo. I’ve never had issues swallowing my handful of pills in the am, the entire handful! This pill has like a terrible taste that makes me gag the minute it enters my mouth, so I’m dry heaving every am. I don’t eat during day, no nausea from it either. I feel great though, that’s the issue. I take it much better at night, so I suggest maybe eating or taking it mid day, and not at 5am. Size wasn’t the problem, it’s this taste. And it says no shellfish, but it literally smells like fish flakes you buy to feed goldfish. My knee was aching from an old sports injury and now, nothing….I am usually skeptical but I don’t take any other anti inflammatory drugs. I’m trying to get my parents to try since they both suffer from major arthritis. I’m going to keep taking it…

I was so excited to find these because they are shellfish free, but the pill is so large that I can’t take them. They scrape and scratch and get caught going down, and it is painful in addition to being dangerous. Even cut in half they are still too thick and still get caught in my throat, and are still painful. Trying to cut them in quarters just makes a big mess.

Love the brand- works well for my knee pain I get on occasion. Dislike- pills are quite big- may have to cut in half. Not for the faint of you fear choking! Otherwise- good stuff.

Worked quicker than expected. In the past I would have to take for a couple weeks to notice results (used to buy OsteoBiflex and Target generic brand). This stuff I did within a couple days (but note, thats NOT a usual result for ANY brand….read accredited literature to build a realistic expectation, you need to take glucosamine for a Couple Weeks before you should expect to see any results). And everybody is different, speed of results vary, as do each persons condition who’s taking it.
Shellfish free is awesome, does not give stomach pains like the shellfish kind.
To comment on some others reviews… are the pills large, yes they are. But let’s be honest, they are no harder to swallow than anything else unless your psyching yourself out about it, so don’t let any of that scare you. Do not be concerned.
Do they have an unpleasant smell, yeah they do. Again let’s be honest, it’s not that bad…did you buy the pills to smell them or to swallow them?
I would definitely buy these again.
Just an update: I’ve bought this a couple more times and have had consistent good experience

I find this helps me reduce inflammation in my hands from typing all day 6 days a week. My speed is increased and my typos less because my keystroke flow and reach isn’t as exhaustive. If you type all day it’s a must have! You won’t know you need until you try it and you’ll never be without. I originally tried it b/c and elderly friend said she believed it helped her joint movement. And she said if it does or it doesn’t I believe it does so it’s worth it!! Well said

Really helps me to be able to walk and get around without pain and this happened shortly after I started taking them. I’m 77 years old and I take all 3 tablets at one time and have no problem what so ever in swallowing them.
I am also very thankful that they are shellfish free or I wouldn’t be able to take them.
Will be ordering the larger size shortly because I don’t want to run out of them – – they have made a big difference in the way I live.
