    This product has been great at reducing pain in my joints (hand, shoulders, back, knees). I’m sensitive to medications so my rheumatologist recommended that I try tumeric/curcumin to avoid unwanted side effects while receiving benefits. I tried two different brands before this one. This one works great! It’s truly a godsend! I don’t know if it’s because it’s curcumin in liquid capsule form, but whatever it is, I’m thankful. It reduces my joint pain down to what I’d describe as small discomfort. I’ve used it for a couple of years now and the pain only returns when I run out and forget to order it. It takes a few days for it to start back working after that. After about a week, the pain is almost gone again. It swallows easily but you’ll need to chase it with plenty of water because of its size. The capsule is not real big but it’s not small either.

    I have used Solgar’s Curcumin for years. It has an anti-inflammatory effect that has been very helpful for lingering effects of sports injuries (I thought I was invulnerable). Hence one star. The capsules in the most recent bottle were welded together. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t pry any loose. I understand that this probably happens occasionally during summer months (I see from the Q&A that others have had the same problem recently). The problem was trying to get a resolution from the manufacturer. Amazon did not allow a return in the normal way, for reasons that escape me, so I had to deal with Solgar. I tried to get their attention three times and they did not respond. I finally contacted Amazon help and the short story was that the agent couldn’t deal with it either and had to kick it upstairs. I am now waiting for a response from upstairs that I am assured will occur within 48 hours. Not only did this waste way too much of my time (partly Amazon’s fault), I have to find a substitute. I won’t buy from Solgar again, which is a pity since their product has been helpful.

    I think this is a great product. My inflammation is down since starting it. Would have given it 5 stars except for it melting in the summer heat during shipping. I will try to order when it’s cooler.

    Curcumin (tumeric) is very difficult to absorb so not just any brand is acceptable. It needs to be a brand that has researched and verified that their formula can be absorbed to a therapeutic level.. This is one of those brands that I believe in. I was able to reduce my inflammation factors in my blood work to normal within 6 weeks of taking this product combined with Michael’s Recovery Zymes. The combo is powerful. I actually can get rid of all the pain in my knees and elbows by taking these together. However, the other reason i like this top brand is because there is belief that curcumin may help offset alzheimers . Since even alzheimers starts with inflammation, I will try any products that reduce inflammation. And given that my blood inflammation factors went way down within 6 weeks of this regimen, I am sold on this.
