    This is an excellent value for the money. I had been buying my Bromelain with 600 GDU from The Vitamin Shoppe, but they stopped carrying the capsule form. So, I turned to Amazon for help and I found this. Since I don’t use prescription medications to control my GERD, Bromelain is a very important part of my regime. With the 4X increase in GDU, I experienced a noticeable improvement in how I feel. I do recommend this product. I also suggest acquiring a copy of Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis A. and James E. Balch, for further information. I can’t say enough good things about this book

    The product quality met my expectations and the delivery was well within the promised time period.

    Frankly I’d never heard of Bromelain until this year. I saw a couple of articles that went on and on about the wonderful pain relievers in this pineapple based supplement. Reviews stating how someone’s knees or legs hurt so bad that they could hardly walk until they started to take this supplement. I also read how it helped with one’s general health and sense of well being-so with great hope I have now purchased 3 bottles total and taken it religiously. Bottom line it neither helped my husband with his chronic knee and leg pains and me with all the terrible pain I have had after surgery for a broken femur and subsequent insertion of a steel rod in my leg. I tried to convince myself that I would be able to walk without pain soon as I swallowed the capsules twice a day and tried to tell myself that having a positive attitude would speed along. My husband who is much more skeptical than me went along with my request that he take the supplement too and he mostly things ended up with endless headaches. As of today I am giving up on this product. I feel foolish for yet again believing in a non regulated health product-but I guess we all have hope that “something” out there will make us feel better so it is so disappointing when it doesn’t.

    When I gave this product a poor review recently I truly did not think it had helped with lessening pain at all-then after I stopped taking it-all of a sudden my shoulders started aching again a lot-which for some reason I had forgotten how bad they had hurt me for many months. It appeared that I was having rotator cuff damage in both shoulders as well as bursitis and tendonitis in my upper arms and I had tried all sorts of remedies to lessen the pain with no results. I had presumed it had been caused by having to use my upper body much more while relearning how to walk after a severe break in my right femur and and subsequent surgery to have a steel rod implanted over a year ago. Using a walker for several months as well as having to push myself up from a chair or whatever was quite unpleasant. I started the Bromelain in the hopes of helping with pain in my legs and my shoulders and for some reason fixated on how much my leg and knee hurt and kind of forgot about my shoulders. When I stopped the Bromelain I suddenly became quite aware that the pain in my shoulders and upper arms had returned. I still had some of the Solaray Bromelain left and started taking it again. The pain in my rotator cuffs and shoulders stopped. It really did. I feel really stupid now that I had not realized that this supplement had helped me at least even if it didn’t help my husband. I read other reviews for other brands of Bromelain and thought perhaps I should try a different brand that had more reviews-big mistake. The other brand I tried-for just one day-said to take the supplement on an empty stomach-which the Solaray had not recommended and I had horrible acid reflux which I never did with the Solaray Bromelain. I never had any side effects with it personally. So-I am returning the 2nd company’s product and re-ordering this one to give it more of a chance. I apologize to Solaray that I had apparently not given it a fair chance and I look forward to hopefully feeling much better soon with their Bromelain. Thank you.

    I bought this product as I knew bromelain was good for inflammation and digestion, It works both ways, believe me. I am active and the arthritis in my toes was getting worse. After about a month, I can bend my toes! Had to be the bromelain. I purchased this product before and solaray is a very good brand. You will not be disappointed.
