I am mixed on this scrub. I like the ingredients and it smells amazing. However the container is not sealed and has no removable cover, foil or paper. The exterior of the box it arrived in was stained with oil. It does a wonderful job exfoliating and it rises off easily. Did not clog my drains. My skin was definitely smooth but felt waxy.

There is no seal on this lid, and the top to mine wasnt screwed on tight or stay put with any thing, so by the time the item had arrived, all the liquid was drained out. Smells good but just have some dry salt.

So my wife has used exfoliating scrubs in the past but I never have. So when I had the chance to try this out, I figured why not. Note while I did receive the product for free, I do have to pay income taxes on the full value of it. My review is based solely on the product itself, nothing more.
The scrub did a good job exfoliating, cleaning and nourishing my skin. Applying it was easy. It went on my skin well and was not irritating to me. It does have a coffee aroma. If you are a fan of the coffee aroma, you will like this scrub. If however coffee is not your thing, then you probably won’t.

This scrub makes me want to immediately make a cup of coffee. I have tried many coffee scrubs and I have to say I actually like this one the best. It is a fine really soft like scrub. The coffee smell is amazing and it smells like a coffee shop. It scrubs nicely and is a decent blend of oily and dry rub. Some scrubs are very oily and leave a little bit of a residue. This is slightly oily, but there is no residue afterwards. It goes on easily and rinses off nicely. It scrubs your skin well and lefty very soft.

This product has no safety seal. Without a safety seal or closed packaging this product isn’t safe to use. It can be easily tampered with and you wouldn’t even know it. I don’t trust applying it to my skin without knowing 100% nothing has been added that’s not on ingredient list and no one has touched it during delivery
JJ+3 –
Very pleased with this sugar scrub (and it is sugar because I ran a few crumbs across my tongue). It is medium brown in color and looks like cinnamon sugar mixture. It is held together very nicely in the container – when you touch it, it dents and moves around such that you almost think you could make a sand castle rather than scrub your body. Although the scent is coffee, it seems like chocolate to me. When using it, you can feel the sugar crystals scrubbing rather than instantly melting. My skin felt smooth and soft afterwards and had a light chocolaty/vanilla scent. I’m happy with this product and I would consider gifting it to my mom, daughter, or friend.

I thought it was odd that this product didn’t have a freshness or safety seal under the cap, but none of the product spilled out of its container and the sugar scrub itself didn’t seem to be adversely affected. That ended up being my first impression of the product though.
The sugar scrub itself works as intended…it definitely exfoliates. I used it with wet hands and a bit of water, and it feels like you’re rubbing coarse grain sugar all over your hands. It doesn’t melt or dissolve as you continue rubbing it. It was quite rough on my sensitive skin and I definitely would not use it on my face. That said, it did the job and my hands were very exfoliated! It’s quite soft now and feels very smooth after I moisturized it with lotion.
I didn’t like how my hands felt very greasy and oily after using the sugar scrub, even after rinsing my hands with water. It’s probably from the oils that are added to the scrub. I had to wash my hands with soap to get rid of that greasy feeling.
Overall, I’d say this product is a good value and a decent buy if you’re looking for a coarse exfoliating scrub. I probably wouldn’t recommend it for sensitive skin though, and I don’t think I would use it daily. My skin wouldn’t be able to handle that. It does the job though. A little goes a long way; a teaspoon or less of the scrub was enough to exfoliate both my hands.
