This is my first time trying a balm makeup remover/cleanser and I was pleasantly surprised. I love anything and everything citrus so the smell is perfection for me. It is a white creamy balm that goes on thick but feels moisturizing on my skin. It removed makeup and dirt leaving my skin feeling soft and clean. It feels very high quality as a skin care product.

I am a 41yo skincare junkie with sensative combo skin that I’m obsessed with keeping as youthful and healthy looking as possible. You name it, I’ve tried it as far as skincare goes, but this balm is on a whole other level of amazing!
The product arrived quickly, packaged well with security seals in place and clear manufacturing dates printed on the container.
The container flips opens to reveal a creamy, opaque white balm that is nice and thick but easily scooped up with the fingers. Even when the product is cold (removed from the fridge), the balm doesn’t fully solidify or become rock hard/difficult to scoop.
This has a fresh and zesty orange scent that is mild (not at all overwhelming) and pleasant. The bergamot is light, but noticeable.
This feels like silk when I am working it around my skin. It almost reminds me of an oil cleanser, but it doesn’t have the same heaviness. This is pretty lightweight and rinses off well.
I’m amazed at how gentle this balm is, considering it’s like a magic eraser for makeup. This melts off long wear foundation/concealer and even removes waterproof mascara easily.
This is a fantastic skin cleanser too! After a week of use, I noticed my pores shrinking as this manages to vaccum out dirt, grime and oil. It cleans my skin without stripping any of the natural oils, so my face is super soft and incredibly clean. This is great for a two part cleanse and it is wonderful on it’s own.
This balm is excellent for dry or aging skin and young skin too! My 13yo daughter has been using this and her skin looks better than it has in years!
I absolutely LOVE this stuff and HIGHLY recommend it!

Product really does act as a 2 in 1: great meltability as a balm cleanser (no chunks!), it gets rid of my waterproof mascara without too much effort; when emulsified with water, makes my face feel squeaky clean like a regular water based cleanser!
It has a light scent which doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin :)))
Would definitely repurchase since its pretty affordable (I’ve used pharmacy’s green clean and LOVE it but just not worth $36, also tried good molecules cleansing balm although affordable leaves oily residue and chunks no matter how much I rub my hands together)

This is a very nice cleansing agent for face. Although the contender is yellow, it only indicates the scent of citrus. The cream is white. It is a soft gel that can be easily spread on face. Since it carries a nice smell, you’ll enjoy the feeling of lathering on your face. That will allow the gel to mixup with the makeup and fats on your face. Then you can rinse off with water as usual. Afterward, you’ll feel moisture and fragrance.

I’ll be honest and say this is my first balm cleanser. It smells amazing and has a nice clean citrus scent. It feels very nice on the face and melts instantly. It is very moisturizing and does a good job with removing makeup. I typically use an oil based cleanser and I was expecting something similar. While it does a pretty good job of cleaning, I am not sure I love how it leaves so much product on the face especially because my skin is oily. It does feel moisturizing and so far it hasn’t caused any breakouts on my sensitive skin. Personally with a makeup removing cleanser I do like a product that leaves the skin feeling a bit cleaner so I feel like there is no product left on my face. If you like balms I’m sure it is amazing, for me personally I will be sticking with my DHC oil cleanser.
