Alright, so these SmartyPants Kids Gummies… They’re alright. My kid popped one in her mouth & said, “It tastes good!” But let’s be real, she also thinks broccoli is good, so I had to test them too. Not bad on flavor, kinda like if candy got just healthy enough to make you feel better about your kid eating it. Three fruity flavors, but they all taste kinda the same… like a ‘mystery fruit’ that lost its identity.
Now, don’t get me wrong, they’ve got all the good stuff — fish oil, omega-3, vitamins B, C, & D, fiber — the whole alphabet, practically. But here’s the catch, this “22-day supply” is more like a “keep buying me every two weeks” situation. Three gummies a day for just under a month? I see what you’re doing, SmartyPants. That’s clever. Clever marketing, that is.
As for health benefits, I haven’t noticed my kid suddenly writing Shakespeare or doing calculus, but I didn’t really expect miracles. Her immune system seems like it’s doing okay, and she’s regular, so that fiber must be working. So if you want your kid to have some vitamins & keep their digestive system moving along smoothly, this does the trick. Just know you’re paying for that trick every three weeks!

Tastes great, sugar-free is awesome, especially with no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors; texture is great, except each gummy has a few hard little bits (maybe dried lemon or orange rind?). Ingredients are high-quality, I like that there’s natural vitamin E (d-alpha and not dl-alpha) and that instead of folic acid, these vitamins have the superior form, methylfolate. At the recommended four-per-day rate, though, 3 people use up a 120-count bottle every 10 days. In other words, they’re fairly expensive. They’re also fairly low in Vitamin A and don’t contain iron, which is good in the sense that kids aren’t likely to be poisoned by eating too many, but we’d like to have a bit more of those nutrients in our vitamins. One child was also disappointed to learn that he won’t be able to eat them after he has braces put on, because chewy things can pop the brackets off. The upside is that I don’t have to remember to give them out every day because the kids remember on their own.

Since almost a year old my son has had poop troubles, which led to him holding it in longer, and the peds had no good advice, i researched and found that more fiber literally makes them go they cant hold it in, so these work for exactly that, he likes the taste, i call it a vitamin, a half or whole gummy everyday for him ( hes almost 3) helps keep him regular, and he eats a very good regular diet too .
