I was rear ended over 2yrs ago. It took me about 8mos to realize the prescribed big pharma pills weren’t working, as I stopped cold turkey to test my theory. As I suspected, I was correct. Also I didn’t feel comfortable putting that crap in my body, but did so as the amount of daily pain was terrible! When u hurt that bad, you just do whatever you are told. I had been using Turmeric for years in teas, coffee and food for a boost of antioxidants. I knew it would lower inflammation in my body, and knew that inflammation after the accident was a reason for pain. When things are inflamed they hurt so much worse. So I set out to study and read reviews on increasing the amount of Turmeric/Curcumin I could get in my body on a daily basis. Smarter Nutrition stood out to me in a sea of products & promises. I was surprised with the results and relief I consistently had when taking these daily. If they can work for my bulging discs, stop my muscle spasms, and allow me to live my life, that is a win! I’ve been taking turmeric supplements for 3 years now for an autoimmune disorder related to Eczema. Turmeric provided better relief than any dose of Prednisone and Corticosteroid topical ointments prescribed by my Dermatologist. The lesions have cleared up and I have had minimal outbreaks since I’ve been taking turmeric supplements. Recently I was diagnosed with Planter Fasciitis and I’ve been taking a CBD supplement in addition to the turmeric. I can feel the results. I am now able to put my running shoes back on and go for 4 to 5 mile jogs with no pain. My limp has gone away and I can feel that the inflammation in my foot has gone away. This is so much more effective than a cortisone shot to the Planter Fascia. I’ve read many clinical studies on the benefits of turmeric as an anti-inflammatory and I’m convinced. I’ll be taking turmeric for life. I really like the Smarter Nutrition brand as I only need to take 2 pills instead of 3 daily and I like the fact that these are fat soluble. I feel as though they will be more effective as my body gets used to them.

In the past few months I have had such pain in my back and hip, that I despaired of ever walking without bursting into tears. Since taking this product it has not taken the pain completely away, but it is more manageable than it has been in so long. Before starting this, I began having to lay on the floor on my heating pad, with my legs up on my bed (at an angle) to try and relieve some of the pressure. That would usually mean spending the night down there. Lately, that has not been necessary. Yes, there are times that I may forget a dose, especially as I’ve gotten to feeling so good. But after a few days when the pain starts reminding me, it’s not even that bad. Just enough to remind me. This is way better than having to take tylenol pm or arthritis meds. The best part about it is that its natural. I’ve been on controlled substances and pain patches for years, and nothing has helped as well as this supplement has. I’ve had to go through so many sessions of Physical Therapy for years with no lasting success. I think between my PT and this supplement I may eventually get to where I may not even need the PT.
Not to mention the multiple auto-immune issues I have that this will be good for, as curcumin is a better supplement than turmeric for those who find the taste of the turmeric a bit tough to swallow. And believe me, I’ve tried blending it in my smoothies, and I still can’t do it. With this, I don’t have to worry about that. I just take 2/day before one of my meals with a full glass/bottle of water, and I’m good to go. I plan to recommend this product to my entire family, especially those suffering from arthritis, osteoarthritis & joint issues and pain.

I have suffered with chronic pain and inflammation for years after a long battle with Lymes and Babesiosis. I’ve tried many products over the years but none have been effective as Smarter Nutrition’s curcumin. The past year has been a series of flares with very few good days. I’d added turmeric and curcumin to my regime from other brands and they were helpful. After reading several studies about curcumin I began searching for a higher potency product and came across this one. Because of the price I initially dismissed it but after reading the reviews I had to try it. I was desperate and knew my MD would want to give me prednisone. Having experienced terrible steroid side effects I absolutely dreaded it. Although skeptical I ordered this. I was amazed the first bottle greatly decreased the pain and inflammation everywhere in my body. I did gradually increase my dose which put out the “fire” of an acute flare. But then the suggested dose was effective. I also experienced a sense of wellness, deeper sleep, improved mood and less brain fog. I’m on my third bottle and will continue ordering unless an equivalent product at lower cost appears. Twice now I’ve run out between orders and have been miserable!!! I know it’s effective when the first dose brings relief. I have only written one other review in my life. I highly recommend this effective and potent form of circumin.
