My rating is for the OLD FORMULA ONLY. Very dissatisfied that they have changed this collegen. I am very happy to get a couple tubs of the original formula at a great price through Amazon. Tastes great & so obviously works for me. I very quickly discerned the new formula is ineffective for my digestive system & joint pain. It takes longer to assess hair, nails, skin. Hoping to find something that works while I still have this original formula. Thank you!

Likes: It is a complete collagen product and I can drink my protein vs. eat something if I’m not that hungry. Does collagen really help with skin, hair and nails…not the way you may think. Our bodies do not absorb collagen…as a protein molecule…it is too large. Like with all protein molecules, collagen is denatured by stomach acid and broken down into amino acids. I’m not expecting miracles from this product, but I do like the flavor (tropical punch) and that it contains a decent amount of protein, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid…all important for collagen production. I mix this with water and matcha tea, which turns into a muddy green color, but tastes amazing, so I enjoy it for what it is and am on my 2nd purchase. As for weight loss? I have not noticed changes in appetite or weight. Weight gain is mostly a hormonal vs. calorie issue. If you want to lose weight cut the carbs to lower your glucose/insulin response. This product contains stevia vs. sugar, which is nice…calories appear to be from protein only.
Dislikes: The price…all these collagen products are way too expensive for what they are, especially since their marketed benefits are based on shaky and misleading physiology.

I have been using skinnyfit youth for about 3 months now (tried unflavored and then the chocolate to determine which one I liked more). I absolutely LOVE the unflavored because I feel it mixes better than the chocolate did (might have been a random fluke for the bag of chocolate I tried, but I felt like it was a challenge to drink the chocolate because of the taste and the fact that it didnt seem to dissolve very well). The unflavored has so many uses since I can mix it in whatever morning beverage I choose (milk, coffee, smoothie, etc).
Since starting skinnyfit youth I have noticed the following: my nails seem stronger like they used to be, my old shoulder/neck injury aren’t as sore, I’ve lost about 25 lbs, my hair isnt shedding as much, and my cravings aren’t as strong.
I am so happy with this product and can’t wait to see how much more weight I can lose on it

I originally ordered the orange pineapple flavor. Even though it was a tad expensive, it arrived beautifully, dissolved nicely, and tasted great. I finished that batch and reordered the orange pineapple and even ordered the mango peach flavor. As with the first batch, these arrived beautifully. However, instead of being in the container I was familiar with, these are in foil pouches. Still okay. I followed the directions and made a batch. This order did not dissolve well and has a graininess about it that is unpleasant. This order was definitely not worth the money. Most likely, I will finish these but will not order any more.

You will not be disappointed in this product and I have had great results using this now for over three years. I love Chocolate; I use it as a shake for a fun treat and I use it with my morning coffee every day. Its the best decision you can make in self care!

I’ve had the SkinnyFit Collagen on Subscribe and Save over the past several months. Just recently, the 16.8 oz canister is no longer available and they have switched to 12.7 oz bags. The 12.7 oz bags are currently $71.96. The serving size on the bag says 1 scoop, with 30 servings per bag. The canister’s price was $62.97 and the canister’s serving size was 2 scoops with 28 servings per container. The new product has less protein, sodium, vitamin C, multi-collagen complex, apple cider vinegar and hyaluronic acid. They’ve added a fiber blend and probiotic blend which only dissolves well if you dissolve it in hot water. If you mix it with cold water, it remains gritty. See pictures for comparison for supplement ingredients on each. In order to get the same supplement amounts with the new product as you did in the canister, you have to take 2 scoops – which means it would only last for 15 days. This company just doubled their profit by cutting the ingredients in half. I will not be purchasing again.
