    My first purchase of this particular product, and already a staple in my skincare routine.

    In general, I try all the Korean products that I can get my hands on, but whenever I see something from Skinfood available on Amazon for both a reasonable price AND free shipping, it’s hardly necessary to even consider the purchase before making it. The mask itself is one of Charlotte Cho’s recommended products in her “10 Step Korean Skin Care Routine” that she popularized on SokoGlam, and it’s easy to see why her – and many Korean makeup/beauty gurus on YouTube – recommend Skinfood products, especially when Americans can find access to them: they work!

    I use this exfoliator once a week after double-cleansing my face, and it works wonders on removing dead skin and also clearing out the blackheads that like to hang out in the pores in my nose. It’s very simple to use: after cleansing your face, massage the mask onto your damp skin – especially around the nose, cheeks, and forehead – and allow to dry for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off and pat face dry. The results are quite immediate, and after exfoliating, your skin is prepared to absorb all the other products you apply after.

    Additionally, it smells like strawberry heaven, and vey natural. Enjoy!

    A lovely and gentle facial scrub that leaves the face exfoliated. This works well for my combination skin. Compared to the black sugar scrub, this is much more gentle. While the black sugar might be more exfoliating, this one still does a good job while not being as abrasive. It doesn’t dry out the skin but leaves it softer and hydrated.

    The size is a your mileage might vary. However, this usually lasts me a few months with every other day use for my face. You don’t need a lot of product. The smell is also pleasant which is a nice bonus.

    I love all of Skinfoods products, but this one is my absolute favorite! It smells SO good and makes my skin baby soft after every use. I use it once or twice a week, depending on my skin needs. It’s the only face scrub I use now!

    This Skinfood Product has been a bit of a “Up and Down” for me but I have decided to give it a 5 Star Review…please keep in mind it all depends on your Skin Type and what you can handle. Starting with the basics this Exfoliating Product smellls totally AMAZING (think a Strawberry Milshake on a hot Summer Day) thanks to the included Strawberry Seeds, Strawberry Seed Oil, and added fragrance. However, the “Black Sugar” that makes up the majority of this Product can be quite abrasive and irritating to those with even Mild Sensitivity. I am a Male with very thick Sebum Producing and Oily/Combination Skin that holds up to the most intense/abrasive Products…and even this left me feeling that “Ouch” sensation. The Sugar in this Product is not for the faint of “Harsh Exfoliants”. Having said all that I really love this Product for my Skin Type…it helps to remove all of that nasty Sebum and overall leaves my Skin feeling supple, soft, and ready for the Essence, Serums, and Sheet Masks I apply afterward. Not for the faint of heart this one is….but those with similar Skin Types as mine will find this Skinfood Product well worth the trouble. Happy K-Beauty-ing!

    This is a great product if you have dry or combination skin. It helps to use toner before you apply the mask to prevent skin irritation.When I tried just dampening my face with warm water(after cleansing it) I didn’t like the results as much. I felt the mask warming as I applied it on my face. My skin was also slightly irritated after use. When I used toner the application was a bit smoother and I didn’t have the warming issue. I also didn’t have any issues with skin irritation. Before I used the product, I did a 24 hour swatch on my inner wrist to test it out and had no adverse reactions. I do think it needs a little more prep than just opening it up and applying the mask to dampened skin (which is why I gave it 4 stars). If you have extremely sensitive skin I would definitely recommend swatching beforehand as well. That being said the mask smells amazing and my skin feels supple. Not only does my face feel softer it looks brighter. The black sugar helps to gently exfoliate and I have noticed a difference in the past couple of weeks. I’ve been using the mask once a week and I’ll will definitely be purchasing this product again.
