I guess it’s the stevia that overwhelms this product – it comes in berry and mocha flavored. I bought the mocha thinking I would mix it into my coffee, but I dumped it out after first sip and never used again. I would prefer it to be unflavored and undetectable as are my other soluble supplements – collagen and creatine. I’m giving it three stars because it’s an interesting concept and a better solution for people who don’t like applying sunscreen on their skin.

First Impressions:
I discovered Sun Powder on a podcast featuring a dermatologist, which immediately piqued my interest because of its research-backed formulation. Hearing credible professionals discuss its benefits for skin health and sun protection gave it a strong first impression.
Flavor and Integration:
The mocha flavor worked surprisingly well in my morning smoothie. It’s subtle but adds a nice depth to the drink without overpowering other ingredients like fruit or almond milk. It does have a slight bitterness, likely due to the polypodium leucotomos, but this is manageable in a well-balanced recipe.
Formulation:
Knowing that it’s dermatologist-formulated is a big plus. The ingredients are clearly chosen with purpose, focusing on sun protection, hydration, and anti-aging. This gave me confidence in the product, especially as someone who values preventative skincare.
Efficacy:
While I can’t directly measure the sun-protective benefits, I appreciate any added support for my fair skin, especially given its exposure to UV damage over time. It feels like a proactive step to pair with traditional sun protection measures like sunscreen and hats.
Overall Thoughts:
Sun Powder seems like a thoughtful addition to a daily routine if you’re already invested in skin health. It aligns well with a preventative mindset, and the convenience of adding it to a smoothie is a win. That said, it’s not a substitute for topical sunscreen but rather a complementary tool in a comprehensive skincare approach.
Room for Improvement:
The flavor could be further refined for a smoother standalone drinking experience, and clearer communication about when users might see visible benefits would help set expectations.

This is an excellent product. It is very effective and fast acting. The itching on my skin has gone away and it has reduced my skin sensitivity to the UV light. It has made my skin more resistant to sunlight and heat. It also stopped my skin peeling. It reduced my dark spots too. I will highly recommend this product.

Sun Powder offers an innovative approach to skincare with its 3-in-1 drinkable formula, combining nicotinamide, collagen peptides, biotin, and glutathione. While I haven’t noticed significant changes yet, I’m hopeful that the blend of skin-loving ingredients will work their magic with consistent use.
Chocolate Flavor with a Sweet Twist
The mocha flavor is genuinely enjoyable, delivering a rich chocolate taste that feels more like a treat than a supplement. However, it’s on the sweeter side, likely due to the stevia, which may be something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sweetness. I personally don’t mind it, and it actually makes it easy to incorporate into my routine—almost like having a dessert that’s also good for my skin!
Easy to Mix and Convenient
The powder mixes fairly well with water, so there’s no need for a shaker bottle or blender. I’ve been adding it to my morning drink, and it dissolves with just a bit of stirring, leaving no lumps or residue. The convenience factor is a big plus—30 servings in one container means it lasts for a month, making it an easy, daily addition to my skincare routine.
Final Thoughts
While I’m still waiting to see visible results, I appreciate the thoughtful formulation by a world-class dermatologist. It’s reassuring to know that the product combines essential skin-supportive ingredients in a tasty, drinkable format. For those interested in a beauty-from-within approach, Sun Powder offers a delicious and convenient option. Just be aware of the sweetness level if you’re sensitive to stevia!

I used to be a lifeguard, so my skin has definitely taken a beating from years of sun exposure. I’ve been on the lookout for something to give me a little extra protection, and Sun Powder is exactly what I needed!
It’s super easy to mix into my daily routine (right when I take my other daily vitamins), and I love knowing it’s helping my skin recover and stay protected. It gives me peace of mind when I’m out in the sun for long periods.
If you’re outside a lot and want some extra sun support, definitely give this a try. It’s been a total game-changer for me!

I’m happy with the effect of this product. My skin has fewer blemishes. I’ll see how things progress by the end of the Australian summer, and may make it an annual protocol. However the artificial sweeteners are much too strong. I would rather pick my own sweetener (or try unsweetened or in capsules). Since it doesn’t offer any health benefits, there should be an unsweetened option.
