Having tried Skin & Lab products before and having liked them, when I saw this Essence available from Vine, I requested it and here we are. This review is for: [SKIN&LAB] Hybarrier Hyaluronic Essence | Contains Hyaluronic Acid | Daily Facial Essence | For All
I’ve been using this twice daily for about two weeks and I really like it. This formula is on the watery side, which was not what I was expecting. It comes with a bulb eyedropper in a pretty, clear bottle. The bottle is a bit bigger than I expected, but more product is nothing to complain about!
I use the dropper to dispense the essence along my fingertips, then I rub my fingertips together and apply to my face. I try to gently tap it in before it runs down my face. (As I said, it’s watery.)
Over the two weeks ,I found my skin to stay moisturized throughout the day. The surface of my skin feels smooth and calm. It might have evened out my skin tone too, because in the few areas where my skin is sometimes oily seems not to be anymore. There’s no scent to this that I can detect and I like that too.
To sum up: this essence has helped my skin quite a bit. There’s a good amount of product, (1.69 fluid ounces), and the price is reasonable at the current $34.00 asking price. I’m excited to see if my facial changes will continue to improve with continued use of this Skin & Lab Essence!

I don’t know how to describe what this feels like, but I don’t think I’ve felt anything quite like it and I’ve tried a ton of products. All I can say is it’s light and almost silky. It’s a good feeling. Skin feels smooth and has a glow.
It’s unscented. It came in a sealed box and includes a bulb dropper. It’s reasonably priced at $34 since the bottle is a larger 1.69 fl oz. I’m curious to see if the results are also unique/better than average and will update my review if so.

This is an excellent light-weight essence that works very well with my very dry, sensitive skin. My skin also tends to become rough and dehydrated very easily. I have a hard time finding skin care products that moisturize effectively and help replenish the lipids in my skin but do not cause irritation. From what I gather, an essence is like a water-based serum. That seems to describe this product quite well — it is thin and just slightly more viscous than water. It goes on easily, and is absorbed quickly. It is quite hydrating and it helps to smooth the rough texture I sometimes get + it is so nice to use in the summertime, when I want to lighten up my skin care routine. The current price of $34.00 seems reasonable as most of my serums are housed in one ounce bottles, and this one contains a generous 1.69 ounces. I don’t need to use very much per application and it feels very nice on my skin. The essence arrived nicely boxed but was not sealed.

This bottle of Hyaluronic Acid has all my favorite features in a serum container:
– clear
– large : larger than my usual <1 fl oz and 1 fl oz bottles
– eyedropper
– not easy to knock over (size and shape help with this)
I’ve tried several types of HA and it is the first thing I apply after lightly misting my toner on a clean face and neck. This one is similar and unscented! I prefer lightly and unscented products and this one works well with the others in my nightly and morning routine.
Pricing is a little high, but for the larger bottle – it may be worth re-purchasing when I’m finished with this bottle.

This product is just kind of “meh” for me. It’s fairly watery for a serum, and I definitely need an additional moisurizer product afterward to feel like my skin is hydrated. I also got the Hybarrier Hyaluronic cream from this same manufacturer and I prefer that. The lack of scent is a plus. The bottle is pretty and gives a n upscale spa vibe, I’m just not overwhelmed by the effects of what’s inside.

Is it worth it? Yes!
final thoughts-
To be honest I’m surprised by this product. The product description does say “a watery glow” and that’s a very accurate description. The box is sort of boring looking but I think the bottle is just elegant. The actual product is very much like water in fact if it didn’t make my skin feel softer I would have thought it was water. It’s slightly more dense than water so you can definitely tell that there is something there. This is the first essence I’ve ever used and I must say I truly liked it. This k-beauty product is really great and I’m very much interested in seeing how the other products from this brand work.

This hyaluronic acid serum has become a new daily staple in my skincare routine. It’s so hydrating, not sticky, and completely non-irritating. I have sensitive skin so I am always worried about trying new skincare products, but this one agrees with me very well, feels great, and doesn’t have any scent.
It’s very thin, but a little goes on a long way. Just a few drops is enough to cover my entire face. I can definitely feel a difference in terms of skin hydration after I use this, and the lines of my face appear to be fading where I use this hyaluronic acid.
It’s a great product, and it’s clinically proven to have a 286% increase in skin moisture content. That alone is pretty amazing and reason enough to give this product a try if you have dry skin.
