I’m a collagen feen but am particularly impressed by how “beauty centered” this product is. Plenty of collagen on the market is pretty basic but the verisol technology along with HA & Vitamin C puts this over the top for me. Not only that, it tastes amazing especially for having a relatively short “added ingredients” section. They’ve essentially just used stevia and cocoa to sweeten which is definitely my personal combo of choice. It mixes well into things (I use a hand Frother for coffee and blender for smoothies). Overall I really couldn’t be happier and definitely recommend!

Oh, sweet elixir, rich and divine,
A chocolate collagen blend so fine.
Each sip a silky, luscious delight,
Nourishing glow, morning and night.
Your flavor dances, smooth and true,
A treat for my taste buds, a dream come through.
With every dose, I feel renewed,
A radiant gift in every brew.
Oh, collagen drink, my heart you’ve won,
A chocolate treasure, second to none.
For beauty and joy, you’re my daily cheer,
A sweet indulgence I hold so dear.

This tastes like watered-down hot chocolate (at room temp). It’s not a bad taste, but I got it for the chocolate flavor so I was expecting more. But, then I saw it’s sweetened with Stevia so that explains the taste. It’s a good hair supplement and has great ingredients, I’m just not a big fan of Stevia.

If I’m going to ingest something, I want good confidence indicators. This product’s labels include:
Positives:
Mfg: U.S. company,
Contact: Address, phone, social media
Presence: Amazon store, web store
Label: Proper FDA info, warnings,
Negatives:
Lot/expiry printed with label, not separately.
No email or contact page
Not all the indicators I want, but decent indication the company is real and stands behind this and other products.
The product itself is chocolate flavored, decent with a bit of an aftertaste. Not what I’d make a hot chocolate out of, but perhaps good for a smoothie or other already flavored item.

Depending on diet, collagen is a useful supplement, especially for vegetarians, but since this is bovine based, they are excluded. For all others, this supplement looks fine.
The container is correctly sized for the content and it comes about 80% filled. There is no scoop included, just a small freshness packet. A serving is defined on the label as 8 grams, or two rounded teaspoons. Using a precision balance, one heaping teaspoon is already 8 grams, so maybe the label should say two level teaspoons. Of course spoons differ and I would recommend to just put the container on a small balance, tare it, then take enough to drop the weight by 8 grams. If we blindly just take two heaping spoons, the container will only last for 15 servings, or will be twice as expensive than we thought.
The powder is very fine and takes a while to dissolve. I used 8g in a cup of water and the cocoa flavor was relatively mild, despite the added “natural chocolate flavor” in addition to the cocoa. It is sweetened with Stevia.
The ingredients are a bit of a mixed bag. For example there is >100%DV of a form of vitamin C so reduce other supplements accordingly. A somewhat silly line is 0mg copper listed as 4% DV. 4%DV of copper is actually 0.036mg and the should probably list this in micrograms.
The collagen is from a trusted brand source (Verisol). Shelf life seems to be about 3 years (Best before Oct. 2027)
In summary, this is a good collagen supplement. The chocolate flavor makes it less versatile because some drinks don’t go well with added chocolate taste. Personally I prefer collage supplements that are unflavored and this brand actually offers such a product too.

I put this in my coffee. It dissolves quickly and completely! There is no grittiness left over in the cup. It has a very long expiration date of 10-2027, so well over 2 years. This is a 30 day supply so no problem using it up prior to then. I have several collagen powders I use in my coffee but they are unflavored. I thought it would be nice to have a little chocolate flavor now and then and this works great! I really like the addition of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. I’m always please when HA is added!
It does not come with a scoop and I have no problem with that! I have thrown away too many to count.
I keep1 of each size in the drawer and found the perfect one for this! I’m sure you’ll find something that will work as well. This is a 30 day supply but that can vary a day or two depending on the size of spoon or scoop you use. Recommend.

Pros:
– Made in the USA (Texas)
– collagen!
– low calorie
– minimal ingredients
– mixed very easily into milk with my milk frother (no chunks left behind)
Cons:
– very strong stevia taste (and smell? I wasn’t sure what the smell was but it wasn’t chocolate)
I generally only consume things with real sugar and no sweeteners so I guess I’m just not used to tolerating stevia but I found it to be too potent. If you’re used to it I think it would be worth a shot as the pro’s definitely could make it worthwhile!

I tried this for the first time in my coffee and it is a very intense chocolate-milkshake like flavor. I will probably use a bit less than the recommended amount in coffee in the future (or maybe like half) because I do want to be able to taste the coffee but I really enjoyed the flavor. It just tastes like chocolate so I think this would easily mix for chocolate milk or hot chocolate.
The package recommends mixing into yogurt or smoothies as well, if that’s your jam. The powder is extremely fine so I think you could mix it into most anything very easily.
