These face wipes are a really good product they remove makeup dirt dust or anything else that has fell on the surface of your face and excellent solution to remove the bulk of things on your face before doing an extra cleansing, keeping a pack of them in my purse I have found good use for them to clean up small messes around me or wipe things off my shirt or even wipe my hands, I like simple ingredients and using products do that do not have a whole long list of things that I cannot even pronounce so I really appreciate this brand I only wish that buying a pack of these things was not as expensive as they are.

I started using Simple bar soap when I was in high school in 1993. It was the only soap at the time, besides Dove, that I could use and not instantly break out in a rash. My parents bought me a lot of soap to trial during my teenage years.
Simple worked for me and continued to work until about 2000 when I discovered Dr. Bronner’s which I have been using ever since. When I saw these face wipes I was really excited because I do not usually get to use traditional beauty products because I typically am allergic to them. I have never been allergic to Simple.
I opened the first package like a complete savage and wiped off my dirty face and was not all that impressed.
First, the packaging. The packs are made like travel packs of baby wipes. They do not reseal very well, so they need extra help once they are opened and need to be put in a container or zip top bag. There is a sticky flap, but that flap unsticks very easy because the wipes are very wet.
Second, the wipe itself. The wipe is nice. It is wet and large and has no real smell. This is all good stuff and why I gave them three stars. (I was a bit confused on their claim of “wipes help reduce the negative impacts of blue light exposure”, but I will just leave that alone.) After I used the wipe my face felt wet, which I’m guessing is the “dewey” effect Simple is going for. The problem is my face felt dewy for about two hours or until I used my regular face wash to wash the dewiness off. It was the strangest feeling. My face felt wet, but it was not wet. I did not like it at all.
Lastly, I do not wear makeup, so I cannot tell you how well these remove makeup of any kind, but I can tell you that even though my face felt uncomfortably wet, it also felt clean. I’m giving these three stars because if you can handle that dewy feeling these might be the right wipes for you.

These face wipes are super helpful to remove make up. I love this brand because it’s cruelty free and not super toxic. This specific type isn’t the best for super sensitive skin.

Simple “Kind to Skin Instant Glow Cleansing Wipes” are convenient and seem effective at removing makeup and cleansing. While I think a great cleanser and water are best for my skin and the environment, convenience wins at times and cleansing with a wipe is better than not cleansing. And at least these are made from “renewable plant fibers and sustainable wood pulp” and come in recyclable packages. While compostable, composting facilities aren’t available in my area.
These wipes are simple to use for day outings and wiping my face after I’ve been out in the heat. I like these when I doze off before bed and can’t rally to go through my whole skincare routine, and I’ve used them when I wake as an initial cleanse when I want to do some stuff around the house before my skincare and makeup routine. These will be handy when ill, traveling, camping and more. These are good for those with limited mobility or for a caretaker to use on the face instead of general wipe.
I have dry skin that’s sensitive, and these Simple wipes leave my skin feeling comfortable and clean without causing any irritation to my eyes or skin. Also, these don’t have alcohol and my skin doesn’t feel tight or dry after use and instead feels calm and soft. I don’t feel any sticky or greasy residue at all, though I still prefer to rinse or double cleanse when possible. I gently wipe and always avoid rubbing my face (especially the eye area) as it’s bad for the skin.
These textured wipes are thick, soft and well-saturated in solution. My skin looks and feels fresh after use, but I can’t say I see an “instant glow”. The solution has Niacinamide that can brighten skin, but I don’t know the % and wouldn’t expect instant brightening. I like the absence of harsh ingredients, such as drying alcohol and fragrance, and I like the addition antioxidants and better ingredients. So far as wipes go, these Simple wipes are really good. 5 stars. Made in the U.K.
