Loved the ingredients in this syrup! Usually I would make my own remedies but we are moving and needed something on the fly. This was a great replacement.
I have a few qualms.. firstly, it arrived late. I was not happy about this, as my children really needed something and we had to wait 2 extra days.. i understand that this does not necessarily reflect on the product itself.. so I won’t take off a star for that.. secondly, we were not very fond of the flavor. It wasn’t the worst, in fact it’s bearable and has one of the best flavors I think OTC medicine can offer.. but was expecting more because of the comments. I got sick last and started to take this as well and it did a great job of helping me get better quickly. With 3 people using it, it did go quickly.. so if you’re buying this for a “larger” family, you might want to grab 2.. as this has you taking a dose every 3 to 4 hours.
Regardless, I would buy this again. I love the ingredients and it did what it was supposed to do. As someone skeptical about using anything other than my own natural remedies, i feel very safe giving this to my kids as well as myself.

I discovered this medication approximately 10 yrs ago. YEP! That’s right…. I had 2 grandchildren whom I was trying to find a cold med that had a great taste, plus relieve the misery of cough & congestion. Was that I thought going to be a task. So off to Walgreens grandma went. Came home with about 7 different cold meds with majorly being your top name brand such as Tylenol, Mucinex, Benadryl, Triaminic etc plus Similasan which is aka Elephant Medicine @ our house. My two 18 mth old grandchildren at the time who I was searching the product for named it. This medication is still today @ the age of 12 being used! It’s WONDERFUL! Taste great & works wonders…. Just sad you can no longer purchase @ Walgreens nor Walmart…

Love it my daughter used this product for my granddaughter when she was a toddler. Now we use it for my 2 yr old grandson. Excellent, works great and tastes good too

My granddaughters love it. She vomits almost all the other cough syrups up but not this one. She actually licks the spoon and snacks and licks her lips. Lol

I’ve been giving this to my daughter since she was a baby. When my local pharmacy stop carrying it and had to substitute on several occasions it was a noticeable difference in the recovery of symptoms, amount of days sick and even reduced the total times sick within a season. I try to keep this in stock year round now and will administer at first sign of cold or flu etc. symptoms. I will alternate and it’s safe to take with most other medications; including antibiotics. It’s the healing properties of echinacea that boost immune system like no other, elderberry Is weak when compared. A reliable product for us for 7 years.

My girls loved it 🙂 the flavor is great, they had a bad cold with lots of mucus I was very worried about it I looked around for Cold medicine all over the places and I came across this medicine it worked like MAGIC on my girls in 3 days they were feeling a lot better, I wasn’t sure of getting but after reading the reviews I decided to buy it, it’s worth it and the price unbelievable, I’ll buy it again.

This is just what we needed for our toddler who was getting over his fever. Once his fever broke, he was left with just a cough and congested with mucus. Usually, the other childrens brand medications are good for just fevers, but after the peak of the sickness, it doesn’t do much. So this product was a saving grace. Plus echinacea is good too. ****EDIT*** After reading more of these negative reviews, I will no longer be giving this to my toddler! Yay, it worked when my child needed this, but I will not be putting him at risk for the side effects of belladonna. After a little online researching, I’ve formed my own opinion that this product may not be as bad, if given correctly. But, naaaah, aint worth it!
