I’ve been getting tired mid day lately. I gave this a try and must admit I got a slight pick up. It was nothing over the top, but enough to notice a difference.

This resin form of Shilajit seems to be a more potent form compared to others I have tried so far. It is nicely packaged and actually has published test analysis results available. Previously I have tried liquid (with some flavor) and capsule forms. Both of those are have the added benefit of no unpleasant taste and are also easy to take. This pure resin form is a bit more work. It is super thick and it take a bit of effort to dissolve even the tiny amount stuck to the provided metal dosing spoon. Warm water definitely makes this easier than room temp much less cold water. The taste is quite unpleasant, something along the lines of mixing ash in your water. I’ve chosen to mix mine in a minimal amount of water so I can quickly wash it down in two gulps to minimize the time I taste it. I’ve noticed no negative side effects and not had any GI issues since taking it. I’ve been taking a daily dose of one form or another for a while and seem to notice higher sustained energy levels since starting to take this.

This is packaged nicely, and would make a nice gift. It comes in a little drawstring bag, with a wonderful tiny dosing spoon. This is very strong tasting, and takes very little so it should last a long time. I like the authentication links. This is a great value at $30.

I have ordered a few different brands of shilajit and the results are all the same. I think I am going to put this stuff in capsules and try to use it that way. I just can’t tolerate the flavor. I love the research on shilajit, but wow is it hard to put in your mouth. And I am not a fussy eater at all!
This stuff isn’t for the faint of heart!

This shilajit comes packaged in a cute little bag with a metal spoon and candy. I love this metal spoon because every other shilajit I’ve tried usually comes with a wooden spoon that is impossible to get the shilajit off no matter how much you wash it. To start off shilajit does have an extremely strong taste. I know some people will put it in water and use it as a tea. I find this just too strong for me so I usually take it straight from the spoon and then wash it down with something that will kill the taste, like orange juice. The way this was set up I can definitely see giving this as a gift also if you have a fellow shilajit taker.

This will give you that perk up in the morning definitely. Has appetite suppresant effects and will give energy to get your day going. But the taste is so horrible. I personally can’t do it. do you have the strength to get your strength from shilajit?
Its the real thing for a good price. If you can handle it, definitely worth ordering from here.

I have tried two other brands of Shilajit prior to this and I have to say that this is the strongest of all three. I can use less of this and it makes a much darker and stronger tasting tea than either of the other two I have tried. This is also the easiest to measure of any of them especially with the spoon which is included with it. All I have to do is dip the concave side of the spoon in the thick black goo and that is enough to make a nice strong energy boosting cup of Shilajit tea for my morning wakeup drink. The others I have tried were thicker in viscosity and did not dissolve in the hot water as well as this brand.
The jar and spoon come in a nice little drawstring bag which I will find a use for. The jar arrived factory sealed and there is a scannable code to take you to the Silk Road Organics website to peruse their certifications.
I’m very impressed with this brand of Shilajit and give it 5 stars for quality and value!
