Though the labels say everything one wants to hear,the product comes from China. Many stories are coming out about other ingredients that are harmful are not being disclosed. Just be aware.

I figured I’d try some affordable options for shilajit, but you get what you pay for. This brand was almost as hard as a rock inside & incredibly difficult to use. It also contains stevia, which I’ve also just read can be from a corn byproduct and not the actual stevia plant. If you want the health benefits of shilajit, just buy the good stuff.

It tastes better and definitely gives me energy. It’s not as thick as other shelagits but it definitely seems to do the job especially for the price 🙂

I didn’t see anywhere in the Amazon page that this was made in China, but when it arrived, the little black box was wrapped in a clear plastic wrap that acted as an addition safety seal. That was a good thing, of course. However, on that seal was a white sticker that read “Made in China”.
I present this only as a fact.
As for the product, I found it had an inner safety seal between the inner part of the lid and the top of the mouth of the jar. I have another jar from another brand currently in use, so I will open this one at a later date, and augment my review.
I gave it 4 stars for now, because I have no reason to ding it further. But I did take off a star for not revealing the place of origin until I received the product.
