I like the easiness of consuming the product, since it is in a gummy form. However, the initial taste is awful. I guess that is the price we pay for eating a byproduct of decomposed organic substances. I am not very familiar with the benefits of Shilajit, but according to internet, there are anecdotal health benefits. I am not sure how I can really review a product that has unproven benefits, so I am going to be review what I can observe and feel, instead of the benefits of the product.
The product has enough supply for 45 days, assuming I consume two gummies per day. The gummies are chewy, and they do breakdown easy in the month. The taste, I mentioned earlier, is unpleasant at first, but that quickly dissipates after a few seconds. I started chewing the gummies with some lemonade to help disguise the awful, dirt like taste. There is no apparent intrusive smell. I am going to take this product for the next two weeks and see how I feel. Will update if I experience something that is worth sharing.

I’ve tried shilajit only once before (in liquid form), but the taste was so foul, it was almost pretty much impossible to consume it without diluting it in a lot of liquid, so I didn’t stick with it. These gummies change that — they have an excellent texture and no discernible taste (despite the few natural flavors listed in the ingredients), so while these gummies don’t taste like candy, they are completely easy to chew and swallow, with absolutely no aftertaste.
If you don’t know what shilajit is, the National Institutes of Health says, “Shilajit is a natural substance found mainly in the Himalayas, formed for centuries by the gradual decomposition of certain plants by the action of microorganisms. It is a potent and very safe dietary supplement.” Medical News Today says, “Shilajit, also called mineral pitch, contains fulvic acid and many other minerals. Taking it as a powder or supplement may help boost brain function, slow the aging process, increase fertility, and more. Shilajit is the result of a long process of breaking down plant matter and minerals. It is a sticky, black, tar-like substance that comes from rocks in high mountain ranges.”
So, basically, shilajit takes centuries to form and reputedly can provide all sorts of amazing beneficial effects. To me, that sounded like a good supplement to try.
I don’t know how this manufacturer turned a “sticky, black, tar-like substance” into unflavored gummies, but if you want to try shilajit, this is the easiest way I’ve found to take it.
In addition to having good texture and no flavor, these gummies are also good because, according to the label, each 2-gummy serving provides 600 mg of shilajit. Medical News Today recommends 300-500mg of shilajit per day, so you can take either 1 or 2 a day and see how it goes.
These gummies are also very reasonably priced ($30.99 – $5 coupon = $25.99 for 75 servings, at time of order. At $0.35 per day, that price is about 1/5 the price of the other shilajit supplement (the disgusting-tasting one) I tried, and the price seems competitive with many other shilajit supplements on Amazon.
Everyone reacts differently to supplements; some people swear by them while others think they’re snake oil. Since I haven’t been using shilajit long-term, I can’t comment on my personal experience, but these gummies are easy enough to take that I’ll give it a shot. In a few months, maybe I’ll be running marathons, solving quantum physics problems or notice absolutely no difference, but for the reasonable price, I’m willing to give this product a try.
