    This would have been a good option for moisturizing—if only I had a high tolerance for the fragrance. If a fragrance-free option is available, maybe I would consider trying again. Sadly, this item will now become a give-away or throw-away.

    The scent is awesome. This makes my skin so soft and moisturizes it without a greasy residue. Great value for the money.

    This body butter by Shea Moisture does work well, and is a pretty good value too – the perfect combination. Packaging is pretty simple and straightforward, just like other Shea Moisture products. The consistency of the body butter is pretty average: creamy, not runny, not pasty. The body butter rubs in easily, and feels really nice to apply. I personally didn’t have any irritation with this body butter, although my skin is not especially sensitive. It does have a moderate level of added fragrance, but nothing too overpowering. I found that it dissipates pretty quickly after the product absorbs. I thought I would test this body butter in Las Vegas during the summer to see if it could hydrate in the extreme dry heat. My skin held up pretty well! Stayed hydrated and smooth the whole time I was there. I’ll continue to use this throughout the winter to make sure my skin stays in good condition.

    This is very thick, which might be a good thing if you have very dry skin or live in a very cold part of the country. What I did not appreciate is the smell. Not to my taste. I tend to like a sweet smell. This has more of an earthy smell.

    The sent is strong like perfume. So if that might be a problem I don’t recommend. Otherwise it works well. I’m not sure about it lasting 48hrs but it definitely does for 1 day.

    I was unpleasantly surprised with this product. The scent was strange and the body butter was incredibly thick and sticky. I much prefer the Burt’s Bees Body Butter. You get what you pay for.
