This SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Body Wash is really nice to use, I’m glad to discover! I had no idea what this would really smell like, but it has a slight tropical smell to it, a little bit coconut, but not overwhelmingly so. A hint of other fruity smells in there with that. It is really enjoyable to use. it is a white cream body wash, not a gel, but it works well . I used it with exfoliating mitts and it was great! And it isn’t drying on the body, which is so nice! I would get this again no question!!!

This looked so promising, and I think it’s a nice product, but it just didn’t work out for me. It dried out and irritated my skin.
It’s a light scent. I wish they hadn’t used ‘parfum’ fragrance because I am very sensitive to scents and don’t like artificial perfumes, and fragrances. I actually found this drying. It feels soft when you’re lathering it, but my skin started to feel dry about twenty minutes after I used this. I actually had to go back and wash it all off with another product I have that had more shea and no sodium benzoate in the product.
Shea isn’t one of the first ingredients and sodium benzoate comes before shea so there’s more sodium benzoate in it than shea butter. I find products containing sodium benzoate to be drying, so I think this just isn’t compatible with me. Not a fan but it might work well for someone else.

Luxuriously creamy soap with the typical shea butter smell. I have a picky nose, so ymmv. It’s not a bad smell, just like a clay-adjacent sort of scent. I like that it isn’t heavily fragranced though since I wear perfume.
I wouldn’t call it moisturizing (soap never really is… it’s soap… it removes dirt and oil) but it isn’t drying and it does feel creamy. I didn’t feel “moisturized” like I had used lotion or anything like that but I didn’t feel like my skin was dried out like it does after I use a harsher soap.

I used this with a washcloth- doesn’t lather much on the washcloth- which I prefer. Used it for a body wash as well as leg shaving. Really smooth, seems to be less drying than many other moisturizing bodywashes that I’ve tried. Followed up with body cream when I got out of the shower. No itching or dry skin– which I often find even with body cream.

I love a nice, rich body wash! I find standard soap too drying, and much prefer to use a body wash, especially if it has added benefits like shea butter to help soften and moisturize the skin. The SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Body Wash Moisturize and Restore is a great product that helps check all those boxes! The container is huge, big enough to last me several months and has an easy to use flip top cap that opens easily in the shower. When it gets low, I can simply flip it on its head to get the remainder of the product out. The body wash itself is rich and thick, and is creamy and lathers up nicely. It doesn’t have any overly strong smell, but it is pleasant. (I personally would have preferred a little more scent, but I know a lot of people don’t like this as it can clash with their perfume or trigger allergies.) It rinsed away cleanly without leaving any residue, and left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I am very happy with this product, and will order more when it runs out!

This is not frankincense and Myrr and it is nothing like the previous product this one replaced. It smells like a gas station bathroom – I can’t decide if it’s the handsoap used in gas station bathrooms or the cleaners used in gas station bathrooms or the urinal cake used in gas station bathrooms. Whatever it is, every time I used it in the shower. I couldn’t stop thinking about the Chevron bathroom that I use on the interstate when I take road trips. It’s horrible. It also doesn’t lather at all so you have to use a huge amount to feel like you’re getting clean. I’m so disappointed because I loved this product the way it used to be and now I’ll have to find something entirely different. Please don’t ruin the body lotion too! Returning.

This body wash provides a really nice lather. The consistency when distributed from the bottle is much like a conditioner cream but it quickly lathers up when spreading it around with a loofah. The scent is wonderfully nice and light, feels like summer and my skin feels wonderful after stepping out of the shower. Like it is well moisturized and soft. The bottle and cap distribution method is nice as the bottle is soft enough to squeeze and the flip top hole gets a nice amount of body wash on your hand quickly without having to wait.
5 Stars = Excellent brand and product, great deal!
4 Stars = Really good product with a minor fault or two.
3 Stars = Average just like the number. Good not great.
2 Stars = May be OK, but there are glowing issues with it.
