The 18fl oz bottle holds a thick and creamy body wash. When paired with my loofah and wet skin, the wash immediately lathered and created a bubble party for me. It felt comfortable on my skin and the scent made me think of vacation from the rich and natural scent of coconut and hibiscus. When it was time to rinse off, it slid off my skin effortlessly leaving no residue feeling behind. After each use, my skin felt clean and moisturized. The scent that I liked so much remained on my skin softly. The wash is formulated without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and petrolatum. The product is made with skin friendly ingredients including water, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, shea butter, coconut oil, soybean oil, Vitamin C, papaya fruit extract, and hibiscus fruit extract amongst other ingredients. The manufacturer stated that it is a 92% naturally derived formula from ingredients that keep over half of their original structure from plants, minerals, or fermented sources. I don’t know that I smell coconut and hibiscus with this one – but I DO smell lovely beach holiday. It smells like the BEST scent you’ve ever smelled, that’s on the air as you’re lounging by the pool in paradise (I am so sorry, I am awful at describing scents.. just trust me, it’s a good one!).
My skin was NOT left feeling tight or dry after use, so this was as moisturizing as I have come to expect from SheaMoisture products. Love it.

This body wash feels great on my skin. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized. The scent of the body wash also smells nice after using it. It doesn’t seem to irritate my skin which some body wash do. It also is nice that it is free from harmful chemicals in the ingredients.

I absolutely love the scent of this body wash – it’s so relaxing and luxurious. I appreciate that it’s plant-based and free from harmful chemicals. My skin feels noticeably softer after using it in the shower. However, during the winter months, I still find myself needing to apply lotion afterwards due to the dry climate.
Don’t forget to use a loofah when using this body wash to get that amazing lather you’re looking for. The bottle is a great size for the price.

This bottle arrived with black dirt all around the bottle and top. There was no safety lid and the bottle was half empty. No way I would ever put this on my body. I am disgusted and disappointed.

I’m a huge fan of SheaMoisture hair products for my curly hair so I was excited to give this body wash a try. This did not leave me disappointed at all. The scent is amazing, it’s a sweet but natural smell instead of a perfume based scent which I love. The body was is thick but distributes with a loofah or even by hand without any issues. This does take a little longer to rinse off due it being a thicker body wash but definitely worth it with how my skin feels after. I can sometimes skip my lotion after my shower or use less than normal because of how moisturized my skin already is when I get out of the shower.
I normally have dry and sensitive skin. This leaves my skin feeling soft and doesn’t cause any irritation or reactions.

This body wash smells SO GOOD, so divine, it makes me want to find something that can come close to how I imagine this smell would taste. I had enough self control not to eat it. 🙂 The fragrance is as thick as the bubbles it creates, and lasts on the skin well after your shower. I found it lathered well with a sponge loofah (the netting kind on the ribbon) and moisturized the skin fairly well and did not leave my skin feel tight and itchy after the shower. I still needed lotion afterwards, but I have mature skin so that is my life. Will repurchase.
