I brushed off coconut oil as just another “fad” but after hearing the constant advise from friends and family about the benefits of coconut oil I finally caved and bought this product. I’m very happy I did! It’s a great value; a decent amount of product for the price. I like the consistency as well. Some products on the market are very oily. This product is easy to store and use. I can pull out as much as I need, warm it up to until it’s the texture I’m looking for, and apply.
I’m very happy with the results so far. My boyfriend’s skin is very itchy and dry, even to the point of waking him up at night. We’ve tried different anti-itch lotions with minimal results. After only a few weeks of using this product his skin is soothed and the itching subsided. I’ve used the product as a mask for the ends of my hair which leaves it soft and shiny without the greasiness. I’ve even rubbed some on my dog’s paws and noticed less chewing/biting.

I love this product. It moisturizes hair, skin, nails, feet beautifully without feeling greasy or oily. It simply soaks in making everything so soft. Compared to other products I’ve tried, the price is extremely affordable for the quality. I love that this is an original family, all natural ingredient, recipe and that it was passed on to Community Commerce to help empower disadvantaged women. That makes me feel extra good about my purchase. I recently bought SheaMoisture hair conditioner and gel too (haven’t received it yet) and anticipate it will be as wonderful as this coconut oil. The only thing I might change is the packaging, if it doesn’t increase the price, to maybe a bottle or a pump. Probably I’m just sloppy, but at first I sloshed and dripped it around the edges of the container and at one point it slipped out of my hands and I spilled about 1/3 of the content. I’ve since learned to dip my fingers straight in and out, rub it between my palms and then apply. A little goes a long way. I will definitely, definitely buy this again. Highly recommend. (I am Caucasian, over 50 with dry skin & curly hair)

It is a bit dear but it’s well worth the money. My black thick hair had quite a bit of dry scalp but the oil has restored it and my hair now has so much more natural moisture. And it’s serving as body cream in my house too! It looks great and I feel it too. Would recommend

I had went to Turks and Caicos for the first time and I didn’t realize how HOT their sun was. I went to the beach and got burned so BAD it looked like someone lit a match to my body. On my way home I read about the mixture of 100% extra virgin coconut oil mixed with Geranium oil does wonders. LISTEN TO ME I brought the Shea Moisture 100% extra virgin coconut oil and added the Geranium oil ( it’s usually I think 3 drops for every table spoon of coconut oil) my burn cleared up in 2 days. I’m not overreacting I’m being honest. This coconut oil is the best damn oil I ever used even after my sunburn I continue to use just the oil and I look like a damn goddess. Since then I’ve purchased about 7 bottles and I’ve been told how GORGEOUS my skin looks. I highly recommended this product and I will NEVER stop using it. I literally order 3 bottles two days ago. Thank you for such an amazing product and gorgeous results.

So, I’m a guy. I started growing my hair out, no guidance. Ruined it a little with heat drying, washing it daily, washing it WRONG daily, plastering gel all over it to keep it tame and not-awkward, combing it while it’s wet. Everything that I now know is bad, I did it. I was told by someone to get a moisturizing oil or cream to put into my hair to try and help revitalize and nourish my hair, and that’s when I discovered coconut oil.
I bought this from Shea Moisture and started using it immediately. It’s great! After only a few days, my hair started feeling a lot softer and less dry. Then I found other uses… A lot of other uses… I have bad dry elbows and the knuckles of my hands are always dry and cracking for no good reason (Okay fine… Maybe I wash my hands too much at work… But if you’ve seen what I see… Haha.) I started using this coconut oil on those areas and wow! It’s not baby bottom smooth, but it has made such an improvement. I’ve read that it can be used as a stain-remover of sorts on clothing, and what I’ve tried worked pretty well. Nothing major yet though, so I can’t comment too much on that. Chapped lips! Works wonders there. My dog has even gotten in on it. My dog has bad allergies to flea bites, and of course it’s flea season… I’ve used coconut oil on him (after researching if it’s safe of course, and it is.) The bumps and rashes have disappeared. The only issue there is… He loves the taste of it, so ends up licking it all off before it has a chance to be fully effective, heh! No problem though, I purchased this on May 17, 2019 and guess what… I actually still have at least 1/4 of a container left. A little goes a very long way with this product.
I’ve even shared it with family and my girlfriend and they have all purchased their own container as well. Thanks Shea Moisture, you have a great product here.

I received my item Super fast and was excited, as I have been putting boff doing my hair for awhile now. The product was in tact, although the product was slightly turning to liquid (which didn’t bother me, I just put the EVCO container in the fridge for awhile until it solidified itself again) other than that, nothing wrong with it thus far…
Has a tight seal under the lid, so even if you order this product in the middle of July OR receive the product with a cracked lid, you don’t have to worry about it leaking! I still ordered this product even after thinking about the possibilities… You just have to take a chance.
THE SMELL!! OMGEE.. I had to stop myself from licking the coconut oil. The product smells just as it should and feels AMAZING on my skin! I used it straight out the shower (as soon as it arrived lol) and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth and smelling great!! It isn’t too greasy nor runny (unless you hold alot in your hands and watch it melt..) and I am about to use it in my hair as hair grease!
