I have the vanilla menthe. I find it to be a delightful scent combination. It goes on with more of an oil consistency, then ultimately absorbs well after massaged in. It has a luxe feel and scent. Genuinely moisturizing, unlike commercial body lotions that have drying and irritating chemicals.

This is now my favorite oil/lotion! There’s only two organic ingredients unlike most lotions/body oils on the market today. I now have the Lavender and mango and both smell divine! The mango scent is stronger, which is good for daytime than the lavender but I tend to like lighter scents before bed so the lavender is perfect to use after bath at night. My daughter loves the mango scent. Smells just like mango. The oil rubs on and absorbs nicely leaving skin soft and not greasy. Ive used other Shea butter products before but I really like this one because it’s in liquid form which is easier to apply and absorbs quicker than solid Shea butter.

It is very rare for me to leave an Amazon review but this one is worth commenting on. I have tried many moisturizing lotions through the years with limited success. Living in Arizona where we have very low humidity, dry skin is a chronic problem. This product is fantastic. With a morning application, it leaves my skin moisturized all day/night. The oil has some thickness to it so it takes a bit more effort/time (perhaps 3-4 minutes) to apply than standard moisturizing creams/lotions. It also takes a few days to realize how much to use. Still, applying Shea Terra Shea Nilotik Oil does not take as long as raw shea butter or other such products. With those products, I found that a diluting agent (for example, essential oils) was necessary to avoid having something so thick that it takes forever to apply. Like most people, I work for a living and want to get ready in a reasonable amount of time every morning. Ultimately, everyone’s skin is somewhat different and you have to find the product that works for you (many times through trial-and-error). I can even apply this product to my face without breaking out. Shea Terra Organics Shea Nilotik Oil (Fragrance Free) is the one for me!
