So very disappointed! I’ve loved this product, but the new bottle and new formula is not up to par. I refrigerate the shake (chocolate) and always shake it VERY well before consuming. With this new batch, it doesn’t matter how hard or long you shake the bottle, there’s always a large clump of congealed product, very much like pudding consistency. Not pleasant to suddenly swallow that … ugh! Thought it was just one bottle/batch was off, but I have a few different orders – all the same.

I’ve been buying this and vanilla for last 2 months. I have received 2 12 packs that has set for a long time at the warehouse. It can be mixed back but it takes a little while.

These are not chalky or clumpy like some reviewers said, and they taste great. They do not require refrigeration either. One minor annoyance is that a bubble will form over the mouth of the bottle after every sip. The label also will twist around the bottle when you unscrew the cap, but the product is legit and lower in calories than most other protein shakes. The only real issue is getting these for the right price.

Ordered 2 12 counts and so far they have nasty lumps coming through my straw. Maybe it’s just a texture thing, but I don’t trust anything with milk of any form that lumps. Please choose a different seller. Like I said I ordered 2 12 counts, so came in two shipments. Doubt I’ll get lucky with the rest since probably from same seller. Other than that it is nice to have it a little thicker like a shake, but still not as thick and yummy as original.

When you need additional protein daily to help maintain your immune system this drink is great. Most taste ok but this one has the closest to real chocolate flavor available. I found if you drink it alone without eating it maintains its flavor, however, if you try to eat breakfast with it then the flavor diminishes some. So I drink it when I get up, finish it while I make breakfast or just drink it and hit the road. It is enough for those who take medication even if you don’t eat breakfast.

Been drinking one of these every day after my surgery additional with my meals and it has an ok taste of chocolate not too strong and not too light. It is thick. I like this one out of all the ones I have tried. More protein.

I have been using Pure Protein for quite some time. I finally decided to order it on Amazon for the price point. I saw it was now being sold in a plastic bottle. I thought that might be nice, except I am trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use.
Well, they arrived and I put them in the fridge to chill overnight.
Next morning, I had one for breakfast. First thing I noticed was the incredible challenge it was to open the bottle! It required that I use scissors or (nail clippers) to remove the plastic seal. Then, after removing the cap, there was the foil seal to remove.
However, breaking through Ft. Knox was worth it if it meant my protein shake was going to follow.
Next I found the rim of the bottle to be sharp, easy to scrape my lips.
But the final straw was after a few swigs of the shake, I felt like I was drinking muddy chocolate milk.
Then, when I drank all the liquid, the bottle felt unusually heavy. I went to rinse it out for recycling and to my horror, saw huge clumps of sludge drop from the bottle into the sink! I had to work to get it all out and then had to run the garbage disposal to insure it didn’t clog the drain. (What would this do to my body?)
Thinking this had to just be a problem with that one bottle, the next morning I opened another one. Ugh!!! Same story!
I am returning these shakes for a refund. I don’t know what they have done to the recipe, but by the looks of many of the reviews, I’m not alone in my opinion of the changes. I won’t be purchasing this brand again until I know that they have fixed the issues with their product.
At this time, I don’t recommend this protein shake.

Delicious, and sustaining. They were my breakfast and carried to lunchtime. Great if your are on a healthy lifestyle diet!
