I had been wanting to try a few of the Odacite serum products and this is the first one that I purchased. After having used two full (very small) bottles of this product, I can honestly say that it works. I have a combination of freckles, sun spots and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation issues. I have very fair skin with a yellow undertone. I noticed that the serum worked best on my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation areas (acne scars). I did notice an improvement on a few of my sun spots and no difference on my freckles. I believe that the type of hyperpigmentation and the age of the discoloration, in addition to one’s underlying skin color, all determine the effectiveness of this product. I used it directly on my areas of discoloration and did not mix it into any other facial product. The serum has an oily texture and absorbs after a few minutes. The scent is lovely and the serum is a bit viscous. My skin tolerated the product well without issues. My only complaint is that the bottle is very small and quickly consumed. If you are looking for a more natural and not chemical (hydroquinone) product to address hyperpigmentation, give this a try. It has become one of my favorite facial serums.

I 1st bought a bottle locally at Tjmaxx, but didn’t like it since it had the rollerball which seems like it will contaminate the oil. So I saw it on amazon & bought a bottle since photos showed a dropper – got package and it too had the rollerball thing going on.
As far as the product goes.. The tiny bottle lasted me a little over 2 months using it twice a day so that was impressive. However I saw no results & if I rubbed my eyes during the day it made them sting like crazy. Also, oil didn’t work well with my mascara. I liked the fragrance.

About to order my 3rd bottle. This was given to me as a gift for the first time last year and now I’m about to reorder for a second time! I am brown skinned and I used to use a lot of concealer under my eyes to hide the dark circles due to allergies and fatigue, but I don’t know how, but this product reduced the darkness and puffiness. I roll it on before applying serum after washing my face. Once it’s dry, my eyes look amazing. I have tried other products, but this one has been the quickest and most consistent. It is worth the splurge!

I have to agree with the reviews that state this product only lasts about a month with daily use, but that being said I love this oil and this brand. I have struggled with finding lines that don’t use toxic artificial fragrance, especially for the sensitive face area and Odacite does not disappoint. The serum is smooth and hydrating but light enough to wear under makeup for daytime use as well. Unfortunately for me, the price seems to be ever-increasing so I am going to try my hand at creating my own serum using high quality essential oils. Have used Odacite for several years but can’t justify spending almost $40 per month on a single step in my skin care routine.

Evens complexion – I even noticed a difference after first use, the thing is you get so little product for $40 that won’t even last for a month (for me) it’s gets pricey. Just wish they made a bigger bottle so it would at least last me a bit longer then I wouldn’t even mind paying the price. I put this on after moisturizer and before sunscreen, great oil.
