We have used two other brands of serrapeptase for the purpose of easing headache pain and this enzyme does seem to help. This Enzyme Science has a couple nice co-factors that help the serrapeptase work better, and a bottle of 120 will last me a long time and makes this good value for the quantity. This has a higher dose than one of the brands I have used in the past, and only a slightly smaller dose that the other brand. The brand that has the highest dose also has more of the cofactors to help the serrapeptase work better. When compared price wise this Enzyme Science is the best value per capsule than the other two brands I have used in the past. Based on dose, added cofactors, and price when compared with other brands I have used this Enzyme Science comes in a close second, four stars for “like”.

We take this as a part of our everyday protocol. We find this to be well tolerated. It’s gluten free which we need. It’s effective and the quality seems good. Take it on an empty stomach for it to have the most effectiveness.

It’s an enzyme that’s good for the Immune System, Sinuses and Cardio. That’s a definite plus for me in the crazy world these days but, I see it has a benefit that’s exceptional for me and that’s the fact that it has the inclination to process dead proteins and since that means blood clots too, I believe that’s quite pertinent in life as we get older but, I think it’s really great these days in particular. It’s made clean and is NSF Certified in the USA.
It’s almost $60 but, the bottle, which was sealed well and arrived quickly after ordering it, has 120 capsules in it and only 1 capsule daily and on an empty stomach is all it calls for. I think it’s a great product to simply take for those benefits I stated and it’s essentially only 50 cents a day to use. I’d definitely recommend.

There are so many supplements on the market today that it is difficult to decide which ones are right for yourself and family. This particular enzyme boasts the ability to augment cardiovascular and immune cell health by clearing out dead and inflammatory proteins. If you discern that this is a supplement to try for your own needs, this brand provides a quality and potent formulation. It contains Thera-blend which helps deliver the dose effectively despite differences of individual temperature and pH. It is vegan sourced, and also is free of common allergens. It also includes minerals and protease to ease any stomach discomfort upon taking it with an empty stomach, as recommended. While I personally do not have profound medical issues, I do not expect profound changes in my condition; however, I think this is worth taking considering the potential benefits.

Serrapeptase is one of the enzymes that may help break down fibrin in the blood, and thus have circulatory benefits. The others are nattokinase and lumbrokinase. If you have excess clotting in any way, this may help.
It is very important for you to take this enzyme on an empty stomach, or it will simply digest the protein in your meal and won’t get taken up into the bloodstream to do its intended job.
I take it before working out, along with other enzymes like bromelain, which may act as anti-inflamatories.
This product is made by a reputable enzyme company that has been around for quite a while. The website of their parent company claims third party testing, so that is good to know.

While Serrapeptase can provide several health benefits, I use it to help reduce my risk for atherosclerosis.
When researching preventing or reversing atherosclerosis a few years ago, a came across an article that said that Serrapeptase, which can break down proteins, can help reduce scarring in the arteries and thereby reduce plaque buildup. I have been using it ever since.
Like Bromelain, which is sourced from pineapple and used as a digestive aid, Serrapeptase should be taken on an empty stomach, and I take Bromelain at the same time and for the same purpose, protein breakdown, though I might take an additional Bromelain capsule later on, depending on the meal.
While this product claims to be vegetarian sourced, Serrapeptase is an enzyme known to be produced by silkworms. It dissolves the cocoon and allows the moth to emerge.
