I can take this on an empty stomach with no problems, which is remarkable and important for maximum absorption. Within three days of taking it, anemia symptoms began to lessen and continue to improve. Bought it for a friend as well (who suffers from Crohn’s and severe anemia) – this is the first iron product she’s been able to take without stomach pain. After a month on it, her pica/constant ice craving is gone. Highly recommend this product for anyone who needs iron.

My daughter (age 14) has chronic problems with low iron. Our doctor recommended this product, and she’s been taking it for several months now. When we had her iron levels checked recently, they were much better! (And my daughter feels much better too!) We tried other iron supplements, but they either upset her stomach or didn’t work well for her. This one doesn’t upset her stomach at all, and it is working very well.

I seem to have trouble with a lot of iron supplements. I like the addition of the various co-factors that seem to enhance absorbency. I use other products in this line and believe they are thoughtfully produced with quality ingredients. I will continue to buy.

I have to periodically taken an iron supplement and this one is my go-to because it does not make me nauseated. Great quality, based on quarterly bloodwork. This one does the job!

Seeking Health is one of my favorite supplements brand because their products always contain the important cofactors that encourage absorption and appropriate metabolism. This is the only Iron supplement that I can tolerate, which is really important because I suffer from chronic anemia due to 2 highly destructive chronic diseases. I usually needed 2 courses (2 infusions each) a year, but once I found this Iron w/ cofactors product, I have been able to go a lot longer between infusions. The chelated form of iron, plus the digestive enzymes, allows me to tolerate it without any nausea, stomach upset or constipation. The cofactors of Vitamin C and copper are specifically essential, and the others also support your body’s ability to metabolize the iron. It is important to make sure you take a multivitamin or mineral supplement that contains zinc along with this which is important when taking copper. Also, don’t take any calcium supplements within 2 hours of taking an iron supplement, because they inhibit absorption of both minerals so basically cancel each other out. Seeking Health has a great multivitamin that you can get w/o iron that contains calcium and zinc, so works well with this iron supplement. If you suffer from chronic inflammation (including digestive/gut absorption issues) which can be an issue with increased histamines in your body, try their probiotics product called ProBiota HistaminX, Liposomal Vitamin C, and HomocysteX Plus (contains a great combination of essential B vitamins that are important cofactors that help break down excessive histamines and help the byproducts clear your liver more easily). I have a medical degree with a sub specialty in naturopathic and homeopathic medicine, so I have done a ton of research on supplements, and having worked in clinical research for 22 years, understand GMP and the importance of independent 3rd party testing…which many supplement manufacturers claim they follow, but since the FDA doesn’t regulate the manufacturing and sales of “nutritional supplements”, they don’t get involved unless they receive numerous reports of serious reactions. I have been using Seeking Health products since my diagnosis’ in 2018, and they are one of the few more affordable, yet high quality, brands that I happily recommend to everyone who consults with me.

Regular iron supplements (the ones I find in stores) really upset my stomach, and I would burp up a metallic taste all day (which made me feel like I was going to vomit). Slow-release iron didn’t cause the taste, but it still bothered my stomach a LOT. So, I thought this iron supplement was worth a try. The Stomach still bothers me a little, but it’s a tolerable amount. This does not constipate me like other iron supplements do, also.
The pills are small and easy to swallow. They do not cause any metallic tastes. I’ll probably keep taking them for a while, although I have no idea if they’re actually doing anything yet.

When all other iron supplements failed, this one did not. I wish it had a non-synthetic form of Vitamin C in it, as ascorbic acid has been implicated with a myriad of health issues, when taken over time. BUT this iron helped my anemia and anemia symptoms go away and that’s why I continue to take it. In general, I love the quality that Seeking Health offers. Dr. Ben Lynch is excellent at creating formulations with the right co-factors for assimilation. All of his supplements are excellent.
