I was really hesitant to try this because of the amount of niacin list on the bottle per picture (it says 180mg). I was pleasantly surprised to look at the bottle and see that peoples feedback were heard about not wanting so much niacin. The bottle I got MFG date 9/2016 says Niacin 50mg. I was already planning on how to split this up in the day because for us too much niacin at once for one family member makes raynauds a little painful during flush and another gets nose bleeds. We have a family issue and all sensitive to the same vitamins in slightly different ways. Finding seeking health hydroxoB12 was wonderful because methyl vitamins for us causes issues right now. No your vitamins shouldn’t make you feel worse or overly tingly or moody.
I can’t comment on how the product is working for us right now other then no negatives have happened. We are still starting out slow.
Update 3/24/17 : Ordered another bottle and received the updated ingredients of 50mg Niacin. So far 2 family members are taking this. Everybody is different. 1 person can only tolerate a half per day and the other can tolerate a whole. To get just a half they open the capsule and put half in a little bit of orange juice and put the capsule back together. Then next day they swallow the other half. This was the only multi we could take for over methylation symptoms.
If you don’t get the 50mg niacin just call to get a replacement. The manufacture website states 50mg and you might of gotten old stock from amazon.

I would have given this a 5/5, but last week I experienced niacin flush. I did some research and saw that too much niacin (which causes the flush) can lead to liver damage after prolonged use, so now I am too anxious to take the full amount again. Instead, I have been opening the capsules and taking half on a spoon – yes, the powder tastes terrible – which is not only incredibly inconvenient and messy, but means that I am also not getting the full benefits of the other B vitamins now

We have been looking, for years, for a B-vitamin that we can tolerate. We have MTHFR polymorphisms in my family (where folic acid doesn’t convert very well to folate, and it competes with folate in the body), so we can’t use a regular multi with folic acid. On top of that, we seem to be sensitive to methylation (methyl B-12 seems to overwhelm us). We’ve also discovered sensitivity to the normal form of B6. Can you tell we’re fun at parties??
That being said, Dr. Lynch has really done the MTHFR community (or for anyone who is really sensitive to drugs or vitamins) a huge favor in coming out with this product. It seems safe for those on restricted diets (no gluten, dairy, etc.). The pills are the type where you can actually open them and make the dose smaller if you have empty capsules at home (you can buy them for this purpose).
I’ve been taking these for three weeks and am very happy with how my body tolerates them. I tend toward overmethylation on methyl b-12 and methylfolate. No jittery feeling. Very nice. Another family member (who is likely undermethylated) indicated itching after taking them, possibly from the niacin, as it’s not the no-flush form.

I took ONE pill and I immediately feel nauseous. Queasy all day, my urine was bright yellow all day… just after one pill. I should have read all reviews first bc you cannot return this product. I’m going to see if mine is expired like others are saying.

It takes a couple days to adjust to the niacin flush, but eventually it went away and I’m left with more energy. I take these along with the b12/folinic lozenges and I feel an increase in energy. Love them.

I am one of the backward people where B-12 puts me to sleep. However, the other B vitamins give me energy which is a recipe for feeling groggy during the day or groggy and wired if I take them at night. This B complex omits B12 and Folate and it works perfectly. I can take my B12 and Folate in the evening separately. I didn’t have any niacin flush reactions from this. Great B vitamin. I highly recommend!

Wanted to complete taking min of 1 bottle of the B Minus vitamins before leaving a review. Have had no face flushing, anxiety or feeling stressed from taking this B Minus supplement. I feel very blessed to have discovered this supplement. Over the years I have taken many different B complex supplements and they all made me fill bad, over stimulated or stressed. They all included B 12. I feel more at ease inside but have more energy and am more alert since taking this supplement. Am 1/2 way through my 2nd bottle. Would highly recommend.

I did a 23andme genetic test and they asked if they could clone me since they never saw such a perfect male specimen before. I said no, because I plan to live forever. So far, so good 😉
And despite not having many flaws, I still find this to be an excellent general use B complex and not just for those with MTHFR issues. Why this one? The Vitamin B6 Paradox on researchgate says that the Pyridoxine form of B6 can inhibit the active P5P form, so the more you take of that form, the more it can work against you and cause deficiency symptoms of B6. It also can lead to neuropathy using that form in excess. And this was one of the B complex that used only P5P even before knowing about that. It also has a good amount of B5 which is great for the adrenals and as a magnesium cofactor to raise magnesium. They also listen to customers such as reducing niacin when customers reported flushing too often. Maybe I just happen to walk by them and it wasnt from the B complex 😉 All the B’s tend to deplete with stress as well, and B12 and Folate I can add as needed and this ensures I can potentially use a B complex even when not needing more B12.
So hopefully your grand kids will enjoy their millions that I spent on your vitamins over the next 100 years. And should remove the biotin and biotin for women as the marketing, its a great b complex for everyone.
