After a long day of working on computer screens these really hit the spot and relax my eyes like no other. On really tough days I use my electronic eye massager and then afterwards use these masks. They fit well and are comfortable for me to use at bedtime. Sometimes I just fall asleep so fast and they stay on all night. I do wish the warming effect stays on longer but that’s ok as most nights I’ll already be asleep before it ends.

The masks are individually packaged and perfect for travel. They warm up within seconds, pretty much as soon as they’re removed from their packets. They’re easy to use, with attached ear flaps which are stretchy so they fit comfortably. The heat lasts over half an hour for me, which is longer than any other disposable steam eye mask I’ve tried in the past. These also have a very pretty colour and design. Extremely relaxing. Recommended.

I love steam eye masks, have tried numerous brands, and think that these are nice. I do, however, have a couple of comments that might set them apart from others.
My Scienbeauty Steam Eye Masks arrived in a nicely designed box that came sealed, which I appreciate. The box shows a list of ingredients as well as information about the product and instructions for use. They are made in China, and the box displays a symbol that indicates the masks have been deemed safe by an independent laboratory that tests for safety in products made outside the USA. The box also shows a date of manufacture of 06/27/2024 and a date of expiration of 06/26/2026. The masks contained inside are individually wrapped and show all of the information displayed on the box except for the expiration date, which is shown as “period of validity 2 years shelf life.” The masks are activated by opening the wrapping of each mask and are effective for 20 to 30 minutes.
I tried my first mask today after eating my lunch. I enjoy having this relaxing time to myself, and the addition of a heated eye mask definitely enhances the experience. Upon opening the packet, I noticed that the mask was more attractive looking that most I have seen. The fabric, which is said to be medical grade, is soft, smooth, and totally comfortable and nonirritating. The ear loops are soft and stretchy. They were a little tight when I put the mask in place, so I simply pulled on them slightly to stretch them. After that, they were perfect. I prefer scented steam eye masks as opposed to unscented, so I was a little disappointed to discover that the lavender scent was faint and barely noticeable. I have tried masks that have a fragrance I do not care for, so having a faint scent is, I suppose, better than one that is unpleasant. The mask seemed to heat up a bit more slowly than I am used to, but it did heat up sufficiently. I have tried masks that are too hot for me, but I found this mask to be just right if not slightly cooler than what I find comfortable.
I will continue to use my Scienbeauty Steam Eye Masks and enjoy my “me time” while doing so. I doubt that I will reorder them, however, due to their having a more subtle fragrance than I prefer. Nevertheless, they are nice masks that someone who wants a fragrance, albeit subtle, might enjoy more than either an unscented mask or one with a strong fragrance, which is more common.

I think that I like these eye masks well enough. I have never used eye masks before, but I do think they are nice and they do provide a bit of comfort for my eyes. They have bands that are quite stretchy so the warmers fit well and stay on all night. They get warm and I love the feel of the warmth so much… I think it really plays a huge role in helping me fall asleep. The warmth lasts a while, but not sure exactly how long because I usually fall asleep about 15 minutes or less after getting in bed. I am happy to have tried these eye masks and I can say with certainty that I will be getting more of these.

I am familiar with steam eye masks and wanted to find out how the Scienbeauty brand compared to others I’ve tried, and without doubt these are the best ones I’ve encountered.
For starters, these masks have good, thorough instructions for use – always a bonus. Each mask is individually sealed in its own packet and has a shelf life of two years. They are also lightweight – perfect for use when traveling, as you do not have to waste time heating them up in a microwave.
Each mask has several layers, yet is still quite thin. The outermost layer is purple, and there are two inner layers that house the heating pads and lavender extract, then a final soft cotton layer that rests against your skin.
Once opened, the mask begins to warm up immediately. The cotton layer has a perforated area that you gently tear off to reveal the bands that fit over your ears. The instructions call it an “elastic band” and yeah, it is stretchy, but it isn’t elastic like the kind of eye mask you use on an airplane. It’s just sheer stretchy material. Loop the stretchy material over each ear with the mask’s purple side facing away from you (white side against the skin), and kick back to relax for the next 20-30 minutes.
The warmth is great for dry eyes, puffy eyes and eye fatigue. Anyone who stares at a computer screen or a mobile device for hours would most likely find some benefit to a steam mask. It’s like a mini spa.
