I am so happy with these prenatal vitamins. I did a ton of research before I found these and finally chose these because of the high quality of the ingredients. I love that these use the bioactive forms of B vitamins because I thoroughly believe those are the forms best used by my body (and baby’s!). It’s kind of a bummer that I have to take 8 capsules per day, but it’s supposedly actually better to space out your B vitamins throughout the day for maximum absorption, so this actually works very well. A bonus to these being encapsulated instead of in a tablet form is that there is no gross smell/ taste like there are in many prenatals/ multis, so with morning sickness that is a huge bonus. I’m currently on my second bottle and I couldn’t be happier with the product. I plan to continue using these for the rest of my pregnancy and I actually like the composition better than most of the general multivitamins I have looked into, so I may continue using this product as my multi after the baby is born.

The high calcium concentration that this pills have goes directly to your kidneys and in my case it caused me painful kidney stones. Not sure why they keep using calcium instead of just magnesium with vitamin K2.

I am not currently pregnant but I am taking vitamins prior to trying (these were recommended by a blog I follow…maybe wellnessmama? I can’t remember which one). I have never had a good history with vitamins. Most vitamins, pre-natal or otherwise, make me feel sick to my stomach. I was concerned i would have that issue with these so I was very careful to break them up and only take 2 at a time with a full stomach and a full glass of water. No issues. Once I was sure they weren’t making me sick I tried taking them occasionally on an empty stomach. Again no issues. I wouldn’t advise only taking them on an empty stomach, but I have a very sensitive stomach and I have not had an y ill side effects to date (taking 1 month+ at this point)
Since taking these I have noticed an improvement in my energy (a BIG improvement). Also, I have been sleeping better, have fewer aches and pains and have a better overall mood. I like them a lot and I will continue to use them. I think the price is worth it. I did not give these 5 stars because of the number of pills you have to take daily. I have always been bad at taking pills but I’ve gotten better as I age (35). 8 pills a day is hard especially when I take a thyroid med (must be taken separately on an empty stomach, 1 pill/day), fish oil (2 pills/day), and a probiotic (2 pills/day) and these should not be taken within 5 hours of going to sleep (trust me on that! It’s like drinking a cup of coffee right before bed). this ends up making it feel like I’m popping a couple pills every couple of hours. Aside from the amount and frequency, these are by far my favorite I’ve taken.

For anyone considering these prenatals, first know that they are truly AMAZING. I was recommended to them by a friend, and I am SO glad I purchased them. It’s a little annoying to take several capsules a day, but it is what it is. The only thing I will note that would be of utmost importance (something I wish I’d known before hand) is that they are fishy, and can be difficult to take. (I go through about half a bottle of water with each “dose” and plug my nose for the whole thing lol).
I am, however, full of energy (for the most part) since I started taking these. I am definitely getting the nutrients and vitamins, etc that my body needs. I don’t feel as weak as I was feeling before starting these. I would definitely recommend, and will purchase again!!

I’ve taken this vitamin for almost a year now. It is clean and doesn’t affect me. It was a great prenatal and now using it as a post-natal. I will continue to use them as multi-vitamin!

After taking the entire bottle I have noticed a noticeable increase in my energy.
For the past 11 months with a change in my diet and working out consistently ,I still noticed that I struggled in the evening time. I never used to feel like that and it started to bug me.
After taking this whole bottle I can say I definitely say that I don’t feel like the only thing I look forward to is laying down to go to sleep like I did before.
While the serving size is quiet big (8 caps) I think you just have to realize it is still one servicing size and some ingredients are good sourced which is great.

I have been using these for 3 (healthy) pregnancies and initially purchased them because they were recommended by the author of the book of “Real Food for Pregnancy”. I appreciate that they contain Methylfolate and are high potency. They are pricey but when comparing them to other prenatal vitamins, they seem to contain much more. I tried other prenatal vitamins for a little while but stuck with these because I felt that I was getting what I was paying for. There are several (8) to take in a day but I noticed that spacing them out during the day (2 – 3 at a time) actually helped me with morning sickness (combined with eating adequate protein). I think that this is because of the Vitamin B6, which I have also seen in other morning sickness products. I didn’t notice an increase in energy. Also of note is the fact that they do not contain iron. Personally I do not need iron in a prenatal but I did take other supplements; magnesium/calcium, probiotics and fish oil, etc., in addition to this prenatal. This remains a very solid base prenatal/post-natal supplement for me. If God blesses us with more children I will definitely use these again, as babies and I are all healthy. Granted health is much more than just supplements, but I wouldn’t want to use another prenatal if it’s working for me.
One tip would be to not store these in another pill case for very long. They may develop discoloration (that could possibly be mold?) without the moisture absorber that is included in the bottle. Just a note also that it is not an expiry date on the bottom of the bottle, but rather the date that they were manufactured. These have always seemed very fresh to me.
