We use these bags when scooping out the cat’s litter boxes and they’re GREAT–just the right size and the light scent is sure better than cat poop! They do pack a lot of bags into a package, so they’re a little hard to pull out until you’ve used enough to create some wiggle-room in the package, but that’s no biggie. I really hope these bags are made out of something that isn’t earth-unfriendly because they’re so darn useful and convenient I’d hate to give them up!

These diaper disposal bags are very nice and the price is right. The scent is noticeable but not overwhelming. The plastic is thin but strong and is not obviously see thru (more of an opaque sort of transparency). The best part is the handles. These are sort of like small grocery bags with oversized handles. The bags can be hung up. I like to hang mine in the car to use as trash bags on trips. The handles also mean they can be easily and quickly tied to contain diaper messes. They are large enough to hold two dirty diapers plus wipes or 3-4 newborn or size 1 diapers. They contain odors well but for a really big mess that will be in a confined space, like the inside of a diaper bag, I would double bag. The only thing I don’t like is the packaging. The box is like a sturdy version of the boxes ziploc bags come in. They can’t really be put in a diaper bag unless they’re in a small pocket or in another bag. They also tend to cling together when you’re trying to get one out of the box. They’d be perfect if they came on a roll or in some sort of dispenser.

I have a tiny bucket, I put one of these bags in it with the sides pulled up over the bucket sides = easy to scoop cat litter clumps and dump right into the bag that is being held open/steady. Then just tie the bag and out it goes in the trash. They’re perfect size. I bought 2 more boxes of them to have on hand as stashed stock because when you find something perfect – stock up on it ‘cos it might not be available 1-2-3 years from now.
The scent is nice right out of the box, but once it hits the air the scent dissipates quickly. And I would never expect the scent to ‘cover up’ anything to do with poop anyway, diapers or cat litter, ha.
It’s difficult to get them one at a time out of the box at first, they’re packed tight in there. I didn’t care, I was too pleased with the size being good for my purpose. Many diaper dispose bags, or doggie poopbags, are just too small for draping inside a little container to make it easier to scoop litter into it without holding a bag that is moving around.
I’m even thinking of getting yet another box for my closet stash. I use one a day – 200 in the box – cat hopefully will live a long life. *smile*

-As my son got older (he’s 1 now) his diapers got way too stinky for the diaper pail to handle. Even if we changed it often, it would still make his room so smelly when you walked in. After trying several different methods and products to try to make the diaper pail work, we decided the time had come to ditch the pail, and these bags make the perfect alternative.
-We keep the bags next to the changing pad, and when he has a stinky diaper we double bag it in two of these. One didn’t seem to be enough, but two is perfect. If you twist both handles together and then tie it in a knot together that way (rather than tying the two handles together like shoelaces) it holds the smell in better. Then each night we take out the diapers of the day to the outside bin. Seems to handle the smell great!
-These are also great to keep in your diaper bag for changes on the go, especially if you end up with messy clothes that you need to get home to wash.
-I was hesitant to purchase these with all the reviews that mention the baby powder smell being overwhelming, but it didn’t bother us (and we are sensitive to smells.) The scent is stronger when you first open the box, but seems to go away after awhile.
-The price is great! And these are definitely better scent protection than just using grocery bags or something.
