This eye cream had me at the “refreshing tired looking eyes” comment! Not joking as I was in desperate need of a powerful eye cream, capable of erasing the words “aww, you look sooo tired” from everyone’s verbal assessment of my appearance as of late!
Although perhaps true? No one wants to look at that part, especially me! I decided to give this Piel Eterna eye revitalizing cream a chance instead of the usual serum. In all honesty? The last few serums that were packed with promises, and lacking in results were quite a strain on my budget. And irritating my nerves as they were expensive with many promises in each’s narrative, but lacking in substance as days went by. Let me be honest here, I have had many acquaintances of similar attributes & neither met the expectations I so desire!
The ingredient list is promising, as I have had success in the past using eye products containing hydraulic acid & most effective. Caffeine! A favorite both inside AND out! Lol Seriously, it has worked well on my under-eye circles prior & this contains a “high amount of” by their own description!
Light & non-greasy upon application, although the moisturizing effects were felt immediately as both my over & under eye areas were quite thirsty, drinking in with gusto! Thinking I should have provided sooner than the now time of later! But okay with the knowledge I know it is not too late for improvement and judging from how the area beside my old tired peepers reacted to this collagen-stimulating, potent caffeine-holding and hydraulic acid-bearing cream disappeared from the moment it connected with the intended area? I think I have a winner here! And the truth will be shown here after a few days of use!

It is just ok. I know eye creams are supposed to be thin and lightweight, but this was too watery for my liking. A little does go a long way, but once it had absorbed into my skin my eyes felt drier than before and I would have to use more of my moisturizer that I normally use.

My main concern were eye wrinkles and dark circles. This revitalizing Eye Cream helped with both. But the results on the wrinkles are very very dramatic. After one week my crows feet showed much less. And now one moth later, using it morning and evening, they’re close to 50-60% better. That is without Botox or doing anything else, just the eye cream.
Piel Eterna lists among this cream’s ingredients acetylhexapeptide-8, which is the ingredient dubbed ‘Botox in a jar’. It definitely works and does the magic in this cream.
Another one of the ingredients is caffeine. It helps with dark circles and puffiness. I didn’t have issues with bags or puffiness, but definitely dark circles are a problem for me. This cream improved them and they’re less noticeable. They’re not 100% gone or improved. But I noticed them like 30% lighter. I can tell I need less concealer to cover them. And super important: my concealer runs really well on top of this eye cream when I apply it before my makeup.
It keeps the skin around the eyes moisturized, smooth and looking youthful.
