the picture says it all. The product is shrinking and losing effectiveness. We bought these at the end of August and the remaining pills are no longer useable. After doing some research the only Sam E that is worth purchasing is enteric coated tablets and they should be individually sealed to protect them. Live and learn. Will not be buying these again!

I’ve tried various supplements from this company before and had moderate to noticeable positive changes, so I was excited to give this one a shot. In particular, I was looking forward to any energy boost it could provide.
The capsules are small and easy to swallow, although they do have somewhat of a broccoli scent which I didn’t mind. Unfortunately, despite taking this every day I didn’t notice anything that would make me want to continue (also, no side effects). Supplement efficacy varies wildly from person-to-person, so while it wasn’t worth it for me that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give them a try.

I quickly attempted to cancel this order after reading the reviews, of course with no success. I normally buy a quality product that comes in blister pacs to protect the integrity of the formula. Believe what you read about these crappy capsules. They looked great right out of the bottle. I filled my weekly pill case and In less than 24 hours the product degraded. Fortunately, I read where someone suggested refrigeration so it quickly threw the rest of the bottle in the fridge. I will never buy any product from this company again, and I buy many supplements.
TO THE MANUFACTURER…SAM-e CAN NOT be packaged using this bulk method. Read your own product reviews. I’m sure you know that a 3.6 is a horrible rating. It’s not worth losing customers over. My order wasn’t even processed when I tried to cancel, but I’m sure it’s the only way you can unload this crap! Going back to NATURE’S TROVE. With the exception of taking too long for them to arrive, their product itself is Quality.

I notice an improved mood and it still works after the fact. This arrived with the capsules filled up but over time the compound shrunk inside to the point it’s at in these pictures. Many companies would put SAMe in blister packets as tablets to preserve it longer and I can see why first hand now.
This is a very good deal for a larger or high dose supply of SAM-e but I’m uncertain how long this will retain potency. For anyone looking to run a high dose of SAM-e you should be fine with this but single capsule a day…. I just don’t know if it will remain fresh.
I’m taking 2 capsules (800mg) daily alongside a multivitamin containing methyl folate which is optimal to get the most out of this.

Have no idea what is in this capsule but it’s bad. The contents inside has shriveled up from a white powder to some kind of orange gel. Expiration date states 2/28/2026. These turned bad with in a month if not less than.

I have taken SAMe from time to time off and on over the past several years. It has been on the market for many years now — it is said to be a natural anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and mood-boosting agent.
It’s always hard to say whether or not a supplement is working toward a more healthy “you.” In the case of SAMe, it could be that I’ve mellowed with age or it could be that SAMe is making a more mellow “me.”
In any case, I will say that when I take it I usually feel a little more upbeat.
These capsules are easy to swallow and leave no discernable aftertaste nor result in any gastointestinal issues. So from that perspective, these seem to be safe to consume. There is nothing on the label to indicate where the product is made, but they do say it is tested at various stage of production to insure quality. The label also says the product is Gluten free, Soy free, additive free, dairy free, and contains no added sugar. All of these are good things as related to things you are putting in your body.
At 120 capsules per container, this product seems to be at a price point that would make it a good value. If you are a SAMe person, or want to give it a try, you won’t feel fleeced with this purchase.

I didn’t know much about SAM-e supplements before ordering this and I have to admit after I started to read about what the supplement is good for I started taking it twice daily. One capsule in the morning after I get up and one capsule in the evening prior to bed. I was hoping that the SAM-e supplement would help with my knee and back joint as I have degeneration in both due to injuries from sports.
One thing I’ve noticed is more than my joints is that my mood has been more emotional while taking these supplements. I would get more into the drama while watching movies or thinking about projects or work that I need to get done. It has improved my mindfulness and motivation enough where I do notice the difference.
