This is not an iodine supplement. This is an overdose level for short term use. Start it only when instructed by authorities.
You risk messing up thyroxin regulation in order to avoid an elevated cancer risk. It’s the weighing of two evils each against the other. Try eating seaweed for iodine intake.

When I heard that they were giving out potassium iodide to people that live within 10 miles of the nuclear plant, I thought well crap. I’m a lot further away. I have these now to keep on hand and maybe we won’t all die if SHTF

The tablets came on time as ordered. But…I purchased them the later part of December, 2024. The tablets expiration date is March, 2025.

I got these for the same reason many others did … in case of a radiological emergency. I suspect the public distribution plans if there is an emergency will be totally chaotic and much delayed, so these are safely tucked away in case they are somehow needed.
